A lifelong lover of music and dance, the man behind the party monster mask “Mike Teez” has become a formidable force in the EDM industry. With multiple Hollywood one-offs and residencies under his belt – including Vanguard, Avalon, Arena, Circus, Belasco, and others – he has established himself as a player in the LA scene. He is also in high demand for the festival circuit, and has played at large events such as Coachella, Burning Man, and Lightning in a Bottle.

Additionally, Mike has established a presence and booked gigs in San Francisco, Seattle, Hawaii, Miami, New York, Lake Tahoe, and Boston. With the recent launch of his own record label - 2the5th Entertainment - and a European tour in the works for summer of 2014, it seems Mike Teez is poised to take off! Backed by an ever-growing circle of fans and driven by his unquenchable desire to expand musical boundaries, Mike brings an energy and excitement to his shows that will rock any crowd! By playing an intoxicating blend of musical genres, he is able to appeal to a wide audience; Bringing the style of music that people want to hear! His sets are filled with high energy, giveaways, and lots of bass! His amazing on-stage presence complements his DJ and Production skills to round out this amazing performer!

“I want people to appreciate the performance aspect of DJing. Too often, DJs sit back and mix records with no crowd interaction. This is especially troubling with the rise of the ‘laptop DJ.’ I want to give my fans a performance and so when I put on the mask, I become the performer Mike Teez. Not just a DJ sitting up there, but a participant, even a fan you could say. That’s why I regularly go out in the crowd during my sets and dance with them. That’s why I get on the mic and give shoutouts to the fans every show and why I always have some kind of free goodies to toss out. People appreciate that, not only because they crave something different than what every other DJ can do, but because they see that I am participating and sharing with them. To me, that’s what music’s all about.”
