This is the fifth stand-alone EP from him for Electric Deluxe, on top of his last LP ‘Comedy Of Menace,’ and offers three more exquisite samples of what the techno veteran does best. Almost a counter-point to Fixmer’s last EDLX release-the dubby, warmed through ‘When The Sun’ EP-’Bells’ is a homage to the pitch black dance floors of the night, with all his hypnotism and industrial hues in place. “Bells” opens right in the thick of it, with alarm knells and viscous vapours swirling round a lasso loop that will hook you until sunrise. “In Chains” is it’s raw cousin-just as dark, unsettled, and riled with analogue sounds. But as midnight begins to dip into eternity, closer “Subspace Two” offers up a lasting sunny reprieve. The EP ends on a serotonin-soaked moment where dub, techno and house close their eyes and sway as one. ‘Bells’ is a versatile record, which sees Terence Fixmer cater for every nocturnal occasio

M_Rec Ltd continues to ascend as one of the the most interesting labels in the techno scene. Today's release sees Giorgio Gigli (Prologue Music, Zooloft, Electric Deluxe, Elettronica Romana, etc.) sign two original tracks and a remix of one of the most important artists of the past few years: Terence Fixmer (Electric Deluxe, Prologue Music, etc.). Together, their approach creates something special and unique. In its original track Giorgio Gigli delivers the best of its hypnotic and psychedelic techno. A great atmosphere, where the ambient pads meet the dark bass sound which made Giorgio one of the most significant artists in the new techno scene. The side closes with an ambient session; a drone of pure electronic,dark synth, making the idea of the state of mind of his own individual unconscious.Terence Fixmer's version is decidedly more rough, stripped of certain atmospheres, highlighting a more hypnotic and repetitive attitude. This rough sounds have for many years marked Terence Fixmer as an icon of the techno world. 
This is a great release of modern techno!

<p>The shadows have turned upon us in this EP from Madutec, where he shows his appreciation for the dark arts. The title track&#8217;s sonar bleeps and eerie washes set the tone perfectly before the arrival of industrial stabs. Steve Mulder rolls it out some more in his interpretation, going for a slightly dubbier approach, using snippets of the original&#8217;s synths and dislocated electronics.&#8220;Anatomy&#8221; seals things up and lets a bubbling bassline lead the way under boulder effects, classy percussion and a grinding rhythm section.</p>

tried making more a deep, melodic track with this one,
 still is pretty dark and has a good drive because of the perc rythms.
bd is made with microtonic, synths and bass with gladiator and sylenth, simple osc for the sweep noise.
most of the perc is tr 808 & 909 sample packs.
edited a few FX samples for atmo
