We back to share with you all the mix that Henry Gilles has done for the series. Based in Germany, Henry has released music for different labels such as Rawax or Public Possession, where he has a new record on the way.

Henry shares with us a selection emerged from the deep ocean. Press play and you can hear the running water for a while, having the feeling of being submerged in the depths. During this submersion you can find pearls, from the serenity of "Watermusic" to breaks and house rhythms.

Henry says: "Thank you guys for your patience.  Mix consists on records and cds. Travelling Europe by train for selected DJ appearances.

Cameroonian-born singer Dick Dickson was clearly aiming for the US funk sound in fashion at the time when he recorded In The Pocket in 1986. 

The session took place in Togo and had band members come from Congo, Cameroon and the French West Indies making the music of In The Pocket an outstanding rendezvous between electrified-boogie and African influenced groove. With the help of Régine Féline’s sensual voice, melodic synth pads and distinctive slap bass, In The Pocket grabs you instantly.

Totally overlooked upon its release, BeauMonde felt that Dick Dickson’s unique offering deserved a second chance.

Born out of the ashes of Darkwood Dub, one of the Balkans’ most revered alternative rock bands during the ‘90s/’00s, Bella Technika is the latest project of Bojan Drobac, the group’s guitarist and main songwriter. Joined by former bandmate bass player Milorad Ristić as well as opera singer Katarina Jovanovic, amongst others, Bojan has found a new direction with Bella Technika.

Bella Technika join forces with Super Weird Substance for Substance Select Vol.2, which features three remixes and an original production from the band’s debut ‘Section’ LP, released last year.

Continuing their prolific form, Greg Wilson and Ché Wilson provide the first remix, taking album opener ‘Reinvented Daily’ into psychedelic territory with vocoder and dub fx.

Yesterday we said our final farewells to Andrew, with beautiful and moving eulogies from Bobby G and Ian, Andrew's brother, as well as a couple of other lovely tributes from colleagues from the book world and Carcassone. A fitting send off for a friend of our who's wit, wisdom and friendship I will miss for the rest of my life. As I know we all will. We laughed and we cried and it was a fitting send off to a truly special man and friend.. Sending deepest condolonces to his lovely partner Lizzie, and Ian and Bob his brother and Dad and of course his musical compadre and special friend Nina. Love you matey and it hurts...Cant believe we will never see you again, but in the words of The Scream "your light shines on"

When we started to get interested in music that goes beyond the box a few years ago, Condor was one of the very few DJs in Zurich who pointed out how diverse the palette of dance music can be. He still does this for us today and therefore we feel honored to welcome him to our mix series!

For around two years now he's running the secret location "Garage 29" - which is a garage indeed. The location is hold in a puristic style with focus on good music and a hi-fi vintage Soundsystem (you will find vintage Klipschorns there).
Coupled with the familiar atmosphere it attracts an audience that knows how to dance even far away from clumsy club music. For all those who don't know Zurich's nightlife; this is about as uncommon as your rarest record on the Discogs Wantlist.

But now enough of words. Let's revel in the future, in which we can move freely again in places like these by immerse in this mix with mostly latin rooted music as Condor himself.

For this one, we’re hosting Bongo Barns (@bongobarns), from the Sentinel Island Disco crew (@sentinelislanddisco), based in Amsterdam. 
We were initially supposed to share the decks at a great party in Lille but, in the light of the current situation, it has been postponed. 
Fortunately, music can still be shared! I hope you'll like his selection, from italo to house to boogie, all driven by a Latin touch that I, personally, dig a lot.
