Dubbed by Igloo Magazine as the “Romanian Detroit electro/techno pioneer” and by the late Aaron Carl as “the Romanian Underground Resistance himself”, Andrew Red Hand from Romania’s spiritual capital of Iași stands up as an unwavering militant of the underground!

From his early gigs throwing parties as one of the first generation DJs in Iași since 1997, Andrew Red Hand continues to break boundaries as part of the Romanian resistance scene and numerous time portals as they open around Europe. His blistering, mind-bending sets such as at Berlin’s Tresor, Griessmuehle or Krake Festival see the DJ with the red hand fuse the pure electro sound with techno, acid, EBM, industrial, classics and futuristic beats. His mixes for Radio UR (Underground Resistance), The Grid (Detroit Techno Militia), Groove Magazin or Trax Magazine remain some of the best frequency transmissions to surface to air.

Armed with a Soviet Union reel to reel Majak 203, his scorching raw analogue and searing acid electro or techno productions have been picked up by foundational Detroit labels such as Twilight 76, Matrix, Detroit Underground, Databass, Detroit Techno Militia, Cratesavers Intl, Visillusion as well as around the world from Holland's iconic M>O>S Recordings to Dj Hell's Gigolo Records or Lobster Theremin, Chiwax, 1Ø Pills Mate, Rotterdam Electronix, Shipwrec, Diffuse Reality, Bass Agenda, Hardfloor, Land Of Dance and more. 

ARH's music has been picked up by various media outlets including DJ Mag, Mixmag, Groove Magazine, Resident Advisor, Trax, Inverted Audio, The Ransom Note. His 2025 EP For My Father, on Time Passages, has been nominated as the Best Seller EP Of The Year by Juno Records. 

His remix list includes work for Detroit legends like Scan 7, Santonio Echols, Thomas Barnett, Sean Deason, Niko Marks, Six Foe, T.Linder, or German legends Hardfloor and more, while support from Dave Clarke, Andrew Weatherall or DJ Godfather has been garnered for our sonic warrior… Beware of the Red Hand!

The proactive musical journey of present day poly genrist Deckert kicked off by joining a postcore teenage angst band in the eyeliner painted emo era of the mid 2000s. Quickly his interests longed beyond cliche soaked heartbreak lyrics and the transition from guitars to electronics began with the help of a new wave of indietronic and the french tsunami of new rave which built a comfortable bridge between the old and the new world.

Quickly after attending the first rave all nighters Deckert felt unsatisfied with the lack of underground electronic parties in his native Ruhr area, gathered some likeminded friends and altogether they stomped some sunday midday dancefloor matinees out of the ground. Due to the absence of any kind of booking budget this is where the first ever attempts at DJing started.

Following some twists of fate in 2008 Deckert joined the lineup of Germany’s notorious pop enfant terrible ‚Jennifer Rostock‘ as a bass player for the coming 10 years. Besides an endless amount of touring this career choice included the movement of his center of life to Berlin providing an internship in the concrete depths of the techno capital.

The interest in this kind of music and the ever evolving surrounding scene never cooled off. After becoming close friends with DJ and producer ‚Aaaron‘, Deckert gathered interest in crafting his own electronic endeavors. Their first collaboration ‚L.D.O.E.‘ became an instant success in 2017 and secured them a place in the heart of the roster of ‚Connected‘, the label run by UK’s legendary ’Stereo MCs’.

Many joint releases followed on acclaimed labels like ‚MoBlack‘, ‚Frau Blau‘ and ‚LSF21+‘, escorted by countless remixes, tracks and solo EPs on ’Stil vor Talent’, ‚Monaberry' and ‚TAU‘, just to name a few.

From 2023 on Deckert established a promising joint venture with rising whizz kid ‚Ede‘, resulting in the international post punk electronica smash hit ‚Immer‘ which got picked up by Gerd Janson's very own imprint ‚Running Back‘. The track became a regular closing track in Berlin's infamous ‚Panoramabar‘ and slipped onto the USB-Sticks of countless major league DJs. The new found duo is set to deliver further follow up releases on some of the finest labels in contemporary techno and already played sprawling sets in mythical locations like ‚Sisyphos‘ or ‚Watergate‘.

Furthermore the multi instrumentalist is one half of the electronic liveact ‚Deorbiting‘ with a constant output on Oliver Koletzki’s label.

Deckert’s diverse DJ-sets offer a sparkling variety in between house, indie and organica, sometimes seen with rare trance ascendents. The passionate performer keeps a steady eye onto the given crowds and circumstances, already having spread fancy footworks over dancefloors in destinations all over the globe like Tokyo, Istanbul, Croatia and Tulum.

Costello is an electronic music disc-jockey & producer whose sound blends rhythmic power with immersive textures. His work, combining sonic exploration and raw instinct, has led him to release on influential labels such as Cod3 QR (Laurent Garnier) and Diynamic (Solomun). Played by top international DJs, his productions make an impact both on the dancefloor and in more introspective listening experiences.

By not taking usual paths and knowing his inner self, it all felt natural for Ignez to devote more of his life to electronic music. His roots are in between dust of sand and waves of salt water. Ignez grew up near the coast of The Netherlands where hypnotizing waves and infinitive dunes shaped his sound. He fled the conservative world by sketching his own reality with these elements of nature. This became inextricably linked within his consciousness and reflects back into his music today, bringing a tight yet indefinable techno sound. 

He has shaped his own path through his imprint, Somov Records, where he unveiled his distinctive sound and artistic vision for the first time. In addition to his own imprint, he has made an indelible impact on influential labels such as Token and SK_eleven, enchanting audiences worldwide with mesmerizing releases. Notably, Ignez has collaborated with Rødhåd. Together, they have created two EPs that showcase their unique musical synergy. 

In his DJ sets, Ignez transports the audience into a mesmerizing sonic journey, captivating their senses and lifting the dancefloor to a higher state of being and a collective oceanic feeling. His driving, hypnotic, and minimalistic approach pulls listeners into a magnetic trance, where the pulsating rhythms and ethereal melodies create an immersive sonic experience. His residency at the esteemed underground Eerste Communie has been the cornerstone of his development as a DJ, fostering experience that has grown with him from a young age.

From intimate club settings to renowned festivals, his sets evoke a transformative experience, inviting listeners to embark on a sonic odyssey and dive into the depths of his sonic universe.
