The Secret Words

Music, an instrument of transcendence, a universal language that elevates the soul beyond the confines of the material world. Its melodies flow like a river of light, enveloping the listener in an embrace of pure and uncontaminated emotions. Each note is a step upward, toward a dimension where sound merges with the eternal and the heart finds its true essence.

La musica, strumento di trascendenza, un linguaggio universale che eleva l'anima oltre i confini del mondo materiale. Le sue melodie fluiscono come un fiume di luce, avvolgendo chi ascolta in un abbraccio di emozioni pure e incontaminate. Ogni nota un passo verso l'alto, verso una dimensione dove il suono si fonde con l'eterno e il cuore trova la sua vera essenza.

This track began as a MIDI track I had made using Logic. The individual stem tracks were then sent to the great Dr. Zwakkus, who then added his own tracks, remixed, remastered, and often times even performed many of these tracks on real instruments to render this musical idea into a true mark of Zwakkonian brilliance.  It is to be noted that any real instruments being played (guitar, bass, vocals and drums I believe) were played by Dr. Zwakkus himself.  The end result of this made the track tower high above the original idea that I sent him, and I am extremely grateful to have had this opportunity to collab with who I consider to be, probably the most original and innovative sounding artist there is, or at least I've ever heard.  Please do check out his music if you haven't, for I guarantee it is unlike anything you've ever heard in your life.

This song began with Josh coming up with it on his electric piano and fretless bass, to which he added some banjo, then mandolin. Once he had a solid basis for the song, he shared it with the rest of Eclectic Collective for them to add their parts. 
  Ken was first up, adding his drums in an such a creative way that matched Josh's bassline perfectly. It was originally recorded to a looper disco beat, but that was blown out of the water by Ken's creative drumming. Tez jumped in next, adding his thrilling guitar to the second half of the song. Not to be outdone, Stephen batted clean up, adding his textural and melodic guitar to the first half. He also added some subtle, but brilliant acoustic guitar to the first half, too. 
  This is a great example of Eclectic Collective coming up with an original band sound out of one of Josh's seeds. We're always pushing boundaries and trying to find fun and exciting ways to build a song. Lots of teamwork in here, too, of course. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.
