I write and record music in the quiet hours — songs about change, memory, and the strange beauty of everyday life. Indie folk shaped by late nights and flickers of meaning.

Paul Santori is a singer/songwriter who cut his teeth playing in the streets and subways of Chicago. In 1986 he formed his band, The Watchmen, featuring Brian Gay, a founding member of DC's Government Issue and former Subverts bassist Steve Ross. Paul started his current project, Paul Santori’s Random Opponent (PSRO), in the DC area in 2015. Since then Paul has made solo and band appearances throughout the US and in Europe. He has independently released a full length CD, “Rock ‘n’ Ruin”, and an EP, “Drop the Culture”, with PSRO, both of which continue to sell worldwide. Paul's first release under his own name, “No Turning Back”, dropped in mid-July, 2020. Paul currently resides on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in the US where he continues to write and perform original music.

BIO: I started writing songs in high school (1969-1973!) and I've pretty much never stopped. These are mostly solo recording projects (my brother, Fog City Fogey, contributes sometimes).  I don't do much self-promotion, not a fan of Repost Exchange etc, so all of you who find this page and like a song or two - you are truly appreciated!
