Richmond, Virginia soul outfit Sons Of The James (singer Rob Milton & producer/musician DJ Harrison) follow up their acclaimed 2020 debut LP 'Everlasting' with a new single. 

Here, the duo team up with fellow RVA multi-talent, Calvin Presents, to cover the Stevie Wonder classic, "Love's In Need Of Love Today." 

Released on May 13th to coincide with Stevie's 71st birthday, the message of the original still rings all too true – a full 45 years after its initial release on the seminal 'Songs In The Keys Of Life' double album.

‘War of the Hearts’ comes next, with this number being a creative reimagining of the Sade penned and performed classic. Key motifs are reflected and morphed from the original, with less of a focus on electronic instrumentation and more attention paid to guitar work. The vocal work here, once again delivered by Taylor Taylor and supported by Beltran, are something to be admired, with the interplay of melodic elements pulled off to a T.
