What inspires your creative work?
Little glichtes or stumbles that I've never heard before that make a song interesting.

What is your motivation/intentions?
Just having fun? I am Djing for 9 years now and never saw it as a career or anything. I am always humbled if someone wants to book me. There is so much talent out there!

What was your first genre that caught your interest in music?
I think back in the days it was probably New Rave, French Touch, Future Garage and all this weird and short-lived crossover genres that made me turn to electronic music. Before I listened a lot to Soul, RnB, Jazz and Rap.

What is/are your most memorable moment
That’s really hard to pin down!

Describe your style in a tweet 
Oi... I’ve been playing Rap music, Jazz, Techno, House, Bass.....idk.... I am always evolving and easily bored. But currently I like to play Progressive House with my Galleur alias and very hard hitting Trance with my b2b project Surf 2 Glory.

Name your funniest playlist name.
I always sort everything by genre. Therefore, no funny surprises.

According to you, which upcoming artists should we keep an eye on?
THC, Malugi , Sedaction, Ttyfal, Evin, Zeynep, Ferrari Rot , Jessica Nightlife , Zips, DHC, Sanaz

What are your thoughts on interdisciplinarity?
We should all support each other. As soon as I dig someone’s character, energy or work, I should be supportive. Nothing else.

Influenced by the pioneering sounds of breakbeat and ambient, Jannik has honed a unique and minimalistic style, drawing inspiration from artists such as Skee Mask, Aquarian, Aphex Twin, and Stanislav Tolkachev.
He is often recognized for his straightforward and functional techno, but in private, he delves into a wide array of experimental and breakbeat-influenced tracks. This mix serves as a sonic exploration, providing a glimpse into the eclectic influences that shape his artistic expression.

Lucky you, though, because the two boys coming straight from the underground of Frankfurt and Halle/Leipzig have contributed a fresh and swinging mix for our 🔥Hotcast series. Since the founding of their collaborative project in 2020, not even noticed are constantly delivering the goodies on labels like Ganzfeld or on Nebulae — and their next release will be out in march for Diffuse Reality Records! Beside, they are also hosting their own radio show mutedFM via radio X Frankfurt. With fast and driving breakbeats, they're merging oldschool elements with new ideas, samples and shapes.

Next one our friend from Munich/Augsburg.
DJ Handy is an Augsburg based artist and part of the SNK collective. She regularly plays at city club and other venues in and around Augsburg and Munich. In this mix, she created a blend of driving techno and hardgroove, with pulsing basslines and driving rhythms. Also, her sets are known for their high energy and electrifying beats. Drawing inspiration from different music scenes in Leipzig and Vienna, her finely woven mixes often incorporate various genres.

Next up in our series is Rachel Noon, a NYC-bred spirit, based in Berlin. She still attributes her most important career strides to Brooklyn’s underground queer scene - being a long-term resident at Unter after-hours and through her own event series Large Marge, founded back in 2017. In 2022 also joined the Copenhagen-based collective Fast Forward.

Rachel provides a proper banging techno,which she describes as "a mix that is equal parts psychedelic, groovy, tribal, and surprising. This mix includes a selection of tracks that have really smashed the dance floor during some recents sets - including the Bassiani closing and also 
my debut set in the UK at FOLD. "

Next up in the Fast Forward Audio Series, we present: Lawrence Lee

From jacking acid to bass and euphoric rave, Lawrence Lee's sets channel an intuitive and emotive approach to activate the dance floor. His productions and DJ sets have seen him quickly become one of the most exciting new voices in Berlin's vibrant music scene. 

He is also the founder of A7A Records, a resident of Rinse France and co-founder of the LUSH club night which has flourished into a Friday fixture at Berghain's Panorama Bar.
