Another rescue.  Remastered to create some 'stereo' Here I am playing a  simple 5 note bass-line on a classical guitar tuned down to C#. Ronnie   https://soundcloud.com/the-secret-red-orchestra on vocals.  Originally the bass was played by our then bass player Chris Hogarth who died recently. 
Recorded in mono because to record in stereo you need 2 tracks and 2 mics and that was not an easy thing to get right in a shed. The deck only had 4 tracks so any 'multi-tracking' had to be mono.
 The song dates back a few years prior to 77, I'm not sure if we recorded it earlier though. Had we done so Chris would have sang harmony and played bass.

The Wishing Tree   (c1977)

This is something completely different ... very special. The basis of this song is the sound of kalimba,, jaw harp, tambourine , rattle, rainstick, triangle, guitalele, djembe, a few synth sounds and and the call of an owl - handmade :). In addition some melancholic vocals.
