“Live In Effect” paves the way for the next wave of Indie Chicago artists with creative, feel-good songs, and a cool, laid-back vibe.  L.I.E collaborates many genres of music like Hip Hop, R & B, and Pop to break all stereotypes of what “trending music” encompasses.  Cellio(27), YC(25), and Kapree Fiero(29) blend their love for one another and music to birth a fresh, new sound that all ages can appreciate. 

Growing up in Chicago was never a “walk in the park” for these siblings, But the three of them have made it their mission to motivate and inspire the same city that raised them, with melodic beats, and innovative lyrics. 

Cellio (27), lyricist and founder of “Live In Effect”, brings and aggressive yet smooth approach to the mic.  Cellio started recording music at the young age of 15 years old, and he has been making moves towards hip hop industry success ever since.  Being the middle child of L.I.E’s members, Cellio balances out this band with his “take charge” attitude and “street-savvy” lyrics.  Dreams of changing the world with music is his main motivator; not to mention, being able to break into the industry with his family has been a bonus.  Cellio knew at an early age that he wanted to utilize music to further his career, so in 2011, he reached out to his brother (YC) and sister (Kapree) to form the game changing hip-hop trio, Live In Effect.


YC(25), singer/songwriter & lyricist, is the youngest brother of “Live In Effect”.  YC brings a fresh, soulful sound to L.I.E, and contributes to this group with imaginative hooks, and hard-hitting punch lines.  YC has always been labeled the “artistic one”, and creating great music is no exception.  He combines his love for R&B, and passion for Hip Hop to blend the perfect musical inspiration for the masses. While belting out gospel songs in his church choir, YC discovered his undeniable talent for singing at the age of 9.  Then at the age of 14, unleashed his natural ability for creating "catchy songs" with "hood-inspired bars". He learned to express his loss and aggression  as a teenager through  music, and can make the switch from rapper to crooner with ease. YC is definitely one to watch in L.I.E's upcoming projects.

Kapree Fiero(29) songwriter/lyricist, completes the Live In Effect sound with her sultry, playful verses, and inventive collaborations.  Kapree began her career as a writer at the young age of 14; expressing her emotions through poetry and literature. It wasn't until encouraged by her younger brothers (Cellio & YC) to "join" L.I.E in 2012, did she ever imagine herself as a true songwriter and artist. She can bring a feminine, yet "energetically hostile flow" when provoked; and an easygoing invigorating track at will.  Fiero is inspired by a multitude of amazing writers from Bonnie Raitt to Sevyn Streeter, but she brings individuality & a Chicago influenced perspective to her music. Kapree Fiero has dreams of writing for some of the top artist in the music industry, and continues to blaze her own trail with the Live In Effect sound.  

"Live In Effect" has played shows locally all over Chicago at popular venues like Adrianna's, SubTerranean, and The Wild Hare.  L.I.E has spent the past year establishing their brand throughout the Chicago community, and is now focused more than ever, on expanding Nationally, and then of course Globally.

L.I.E released its first music video for the single, "Grinding" (Produced by Sire Adonis Kelly) in September 2015, and plans on releasing music videos to hot singles like "Hate On", "Full House", and "O.T.F" in the next  months to come. 

Live In Effect is a true testament to what happens when talent and passion meets love and loyalty. L.I.E is more than a group of siblings making "DOPE" music. The art created by L.I.E is bigger than music....it's a movement, and motivation for every artist to continue to inspire the world musically.
