For this mix I chose a selection that takes me to a place of peace, a state where im not thinking, just being.Everything else fades away. You are fully present, almost meditative. I wanted to create a space to breathe, listen and float. Sounds that move through us so we can be carried by their melodies. Creating this felt completely naturally, almost effortlessly, it resonates so deeply with me to my own stillness.

Here's something nobody wanted or requested - a new album by the long forgotten band Minimalistic Sweden. Or actually one person asked me three weeks ago if we still exist. We hadn't recorded any music together since our CD Standard Klickmusik was released thru Mikael Stavöstrands Mitek label back in 2003. Seventeen years later, here we are again with Triptyk, a record we created during three weeks in isolation by sending files back and forth. “Giganta” is a music producer, sound designer and AV artist based in Athens, creating experimental electronic beats and immersive digital worlds.

Her sonic journey began with the release of her debut EP on Werkdiscs/Ninja Tune, followed by releases on labels such as OnLoop and Black Athena. 

An alumna of the Red Bull Music Academy, her work extends beyond music into sound design for animation and contemporary art, collaborating with creatives including Margot Bowman and Graphset.

Her productions have travelled across platforms including NPR Music, NTS Radio, Rinse FM, Dummy Magazine and Crack Magazine.

As a resident at Athens radio collective "Stegi radio," Giganta hosts the "Big Up" show, shining a spotlight on underground artists and contributing to the city's vibrant music scene.
