In the midst of a meteoric rise and a riding high of her recent release on Pig & Dan’s Elevate imprint, Amelie Lens returns home to Second State with an absolutely stellar three tracker delivering her signature sound of sultry vocals, cryptic atmospheres and massive drums. The ‘Contradiction’ EP kicks off with the title track of the same name with an enormous kick drum as fragments of Amelie’s lush vocals introduce a fever inducing acid line culminating in a rugged yet profoundly energetic tune, proving that less is truly more. ‘Drift’ follows suit and once again proves that Amelie’s minimalist approach has massive results. By utilizing a few powerful elements, ‘Drift’ dives into the heavy ethereal creating the perfect balance between tension and serenity. Wrapping up the release Lens delivers the most psychedelic cut of the EP with ‘Resonance’. Another masterpiece in the minimal approach, Amelie utilizes a simple shimmering synth as the vehicle in which to traverse a dark world of intense percussive sonics. Get ready to take a journey. Agents Of Time are proud to present ‘Ordinary Cosmic Dance’, the new EP on their own Obscura imprint. Over three tracks the Bari based trio brandish hypnotic, looping melodies in techno structures with subtle trance references. It arrives a year after the birth of the label, which has since issued music by Hiver, Amandra and The Hacker amongst others.

‘Ordinary Chaos’ builds low end frequencies juxtaposed with a stripped back melodic lead and staccato bass. ‘Cosmic Frequencies’ revolves around a syncopated synth line that swells its way through mesmeric percussion and entrancing pads. ‘Dance Impulse’ takes fragments of dub techno and remoulds them into a glitchy dancefloor workout.

The mutable nature of our lives leads to a constant pursuit of musical incentives. Last month we launched a new series on MindTrip aiming to bring together diverse sounds and musical backgrounds under a mutual project.

Mutable Minds edition II welcomes the very exceptional work from five of our favorite artists out there. The release opens with our head honcho Pfirter and his Anti-Routine that comes with his trademark modular effect and a well-constructed sequence. Sleepwalker belongs to Mexico’s finest techno export aka Fixeer who delivered a pounding track with great energy.

On the B-side things are getting deeper and more tripped out yet still powerful and intense with the Swedish duo Kuf & Dold and their track Mint. Mutual Minds II closes with a familiar name that is none other than Jonas Kopp who returns to MindTrip with a very interesting piece that comprises a narcotic feeling and space stabs.

The final outcome of the second Mutable Minds edition perfectly describes the musical perspective and ethos on MindTrip. Hope you enjoy this trip to the fullest.

Worakls - Cloches [Hungry]

Story of the Moon is a superb production of new sounds blended with sheer crowd pleasureless. One of them explosive tracks that ignites the floor.

Yigitoglu uses dark and progressive sounds to open doors into the hearts of his audience. Seasoned in Istanbul’s vibrant scene, he released his first single ‘6 am’ on 1103 Musik Berlin in 2018. Following ‘6am’, ‘Hubble’ was released on Yin Yang Records and was featured on “Yin Yang Anthems 16” later attracting support from Joseph Capriati, Cristian Varela, Luigi Madonna, Paco Osuna, Akira Kayosa
among other household names. His first EP ‘Circle of Sin’ raised to #5 on the Beatport Top100 techno releases and #25 on the overall chart above works from the likes of Hidden Empire, Deborah De Luca and Pleasurekraft. 

He is now working on numerous projects towards establishing his own musical identity in the techno scene.
