Been wanting to make a Canon for some time, tho it's obviously not perfect it's still cool that I made one.

It really is cool that you can just make things without having to ask permission or really worry if it's going to be on par with some grand standard.

The turning of a new leaf.


The irony with this piece in particular is that I made so many versions of this and republished them at least 60 times.

I was trying to make something that my dad liked, but all I really needed was to make something that I liked.

And though the motivation for this piece was tainted, I can say I genuinely like this piece.

Reimagining of a piece I wrote forever ago.




I originally wrote this piece for string quartet and it was inspired during my Beethoven phase lol. 

I originally named it "reluctant disgust", it was shortly after I broke up with my first girlfriend, I still loved her but knew I needed to break away 
(it was a pretty toxic relationship, definitely my CPTSD didn't make it a fun time for anyone).

So this was partly my way of processing it.

I do like the theme, I'm glad I could resurrect it, I even have a piano transcription, I like doing that for my pieces.

I really like the idea of outfitting my various pieces for different instruments, it's almost like a brand-new piece.

Feelings written a lifetime ago.

I wrote this piece about 5 or so years ago, I was writing a series on grieving, this was titled anger originally.

Like many of my pieces I was afraid to title them what I actually wanted to title them (until now).

This was largely, because I was shamed and bullied by family into conforming to how they thought I should feel and think.

I wanted this piece to be named Hatred, because this is how I felt living in an abusive environment for 20 years. Hate.

Hate like anger is not an evil feeling, it's the body's emotional immune system and deserves to be heard and understood.

I wrote this piece when my sister moved out, it was the first time we'd be apart indefinitely. 

My mom had basically run all of us out of the house while my dad sat there and watched, I was the last to leave or escape if you will, but she was the first, and what I felt was such sadness of us being apart but I was also super happy that she got to leave. 

She is such an inspiration to me even though I'm her older brother, it was honestly her that proved it to me that if you kept going there actually is another side, that I wouldn't be pushing on in vain.

This one it fun, because I never thought this was something you could do!

like I never heard of a 3 piano trio before and I was like "wuuuuuuuuuut, I can make one??"

This piece is actually alot darker than it may appear.

It's tempting and appealing disassociation. 

At least how it feels to me.

This one is funny, I wrote it because I needed a third movement to complete my sonata, but I actually ended up loving this piece a lot.


The picture I took the same day and it was a beautiful summer day, this piece perfectly describes my feelings.

Almost like butterflies.

It feels finished to me now, but I don't want to listen to it at all. Not sure why.

I think I found out why I didn't want to listen to it, it was too comfortable for how I was feeling when I wrote it.

It wasn't having a hard time, I was.

A Brief Period of Madness | Eight Part Orchestra Op.1, No.6 Moderato C#m

This was an externalization pivotal personal death in my life.

It's a breakup song if you've ever heard one.

I actually repurposed this piece after I broke up with my first girlfriend.

For most people this would be no big deal, but, this break up was probably the single most consciously painful and likely one of the most important things I have ever experienced to this day. (May 2022)

If it wasn't for the pain, which I believe shocked me awake from my almost endless disassociation, I likely wouldn't have been able to eventually leave my abusive family situation and be free like I had dreamed since I was 10.

Her name was Elyse, and though this is a very difficult piece to listen to, I am forever grateful for the gift she unknowingly gave me.

I am glad I can appreciate it now and will never forget it.

Another Revamp. 

When I wrote this it was of my first compositions with StaffPad (really cool app btw), and It is made of pure excitement and joy of actually being able to write music by hand and hear it in real-time.

I probably wrote it in 2017.

Finally a more recent piece.

I wrote a lot of my works with an intense feeling of loneliness and melancholy, this one is no exception.

I was very alone at night with this piece, honestly this is something I never thought I would share.

It's one of those feelings of being alone when surrounded by people. 

These people were my family, they had left the house for over 8 hours and I think it was 4th of July.

I had no friends and even if I did wouldn't be allowed to hang out with them anyway, my siblings and I would never be allowed to be with our friends, in fact, one of my siblings was punished for it so I never bothered.

This piece is about my child selves prayer to have the torment and suffering stop.

In particular a prayer for my dad to want to be around me, because then he might protect me.

Maybe someday I'll talk about the motivation behind it.
