Madloch's 3rd Avenue welcomes back Argentinian producer Ignacio Hernández with his Reason Beyond Fate EP. Featuring two originals, Beyond Fate and Thousand Reasons, the release highlights Ignacio's ability to blend emotional depth with refined groove, creating tracks that are equally suited for the dancefloor and for deeper listening moments.

Earlier this year, Ignacio made his debut on the label with a remix for Ben Monday's Galaxy, which immediately showcased his distinct musical identity. His connection with the Sound Avenue Labelgroup has grown steadily, with contributions to both Future Avenue and South America Avenue, while his broader discography includes appearances on Mango Alley, Flower Power, and Mercurial Tones. It is just weeks after my first daughter is born and I am flying to the other side of the world, far away from the Arizona desert in the midst of summer, to a Dutch seaside town where the sun does not set until late into the evening at this time of year. I am not doing it for the money or the thrill of the gig. I can't stand long flights, and especially to be away from my family. I am doing this so that my newborn daughter will know one day what it means to chase your dreams despite the obstacles we all face. They are all too easy to list and use as reasons to say "not this time". 

Fast forward through a 12 hour layover in NYC and the onset of debilitating jetlag and it's lunchtime before I am to show up to play my music on the beach. The promoter rings my agent and I'm being told I can go for a full 3 hours rather than the original 1 hour that was planned...something of a surprise for a progressive artist crashing a mostly uplifting trance festival! I take a moment to consider the offer and then accept...playing for a full 3 hours at a summer festival packed with so many artists back to back may never happen again in my career. It becomes another experience to cross off the bucket list and tell my daughter about one day. 

This recording is of the second half of my set, admittedly full of my own productions and collaborations, maybe to a fault. But sometimes the setting for your gig absolutely informs how and what you are going to play. This was a festival on a beach alongside the North Sea during the endless days of the Dutch summer. The weather was perfect and I was homesick for my beautiful wife and daughter, yet surrounded by some of the friendliest music fans in the world. Most were there to see their favorite trance star, but some of them stayed around to hear what this progressive artist who had flown all the way from Arizona had to offer. The music was lighter and happier, and the experience was amazing. Thank you
