I love music! But I'm not a music geek. Generally speaking I don't care for knowing band names, or which foot pedal produces .05% more resonance than any other - I just don't care for it in that way.
But I love listening to music and messing about with it to my own ends. And my ends are quite simply to make music when I want to and in whatever manner I am feeling at the time.
I am not adverse to performing live or with a band, but I do not actively seek it out. I'm sure I would love to play in a band and find it utterly amusing, but I find that in day to day life anyway!!
