Playful, satirical and with plenty of commentary that digs into the human experience – Blast Havers is a Bay Area-based electronic outfit that blends slow tech house, quirky sound design and a splash of witty lyricism. They like to throw convention out the window, and instead opt for a sound that pokes fun at life’s absurdities while making you lose it on the dancefloor.

Blast Havers thrives on paradoxes, taking slower BPMs and injecting them with high-energy tricks that keep the momentum high. Each track is a whimsical journey through a musical maze, filled with twists and turns that are perfect for any time slot. Their goal? Obviously, to make you dance, but also to take it back to the roots of electronic music. That is, to promote human connection – regardless of the number in your bank account, your so-called ‘social status,’ or your demographics.

Often rife with highly satirical themes, Blast Havers' tracks don’t shy away from observational humor. 'Tested On Animals,' for instance, is a track inspired by the absurdity of finding a bag of dog treats that states "this product is not tested on animals." It’s these moments of everyday irony that fuel the creative engine within Blast Havers.

They draw from a vast palette of musical influences, ranging from the old-school funk of James Brown to the electronic innovators Daft Punk, Gorillaz and Pendulum. They also cite the hip-hop flair of De La Soul and nu-metal icons Incubus as having a profound impact on their sound and direction.

Blast Havers is currently set to release a string of singles over the coming months. Kicking things off is "Tested On Animals," set to drop in November 2024, followed by "Content Schmontent" featuring Ori Kawa in January 2025. Rounding out this musical trifecta is "Take The Ride," slated for release in February 2025.
