Music expresses that wich cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent. - Victor Hugo

'Gevoel voert de boventoon' is wat voor Giliano telt bij elke productie of DJ-set. 'Het is voor mij belangrijk dat er melodieën, ritmes en groovy baselines in een track zitten, ongeacht het genre. Of het nu om een 110 bpm deep house plaat gaat of een 130 bpm techno plaat, muziek moet je raken.'

Vanaf zijn 15e kwam hij in aanraking met house muziek en niet veel later begon de zoektocht naar gevoelige platen. ‘Al snel kwam ik erachter dat ik warm werd van platen met soul, funk en afro invloeden van onder anderen; Charles Webster, Âme, Christian Prommer, Dennis Ferrer, The Martinez Brothers, Afefe Iku, Osunlade, Boddhi Satva, Kenny Dope en Louie Vega to name a few. Hun platen hebben zoveel diepgang en zijn niet alleen maar gemaakt om je helemaal los te laten gaan, maar ook om je te laten genieten. Het grappige is eigenlijk dat deze mannen qua muziek niet eens onder dezelfde genres vallen, maar hun tracks hebben 1 ding allemaal gemeen; ze hebben een ziel!’

In de jaren die volgde kwam de liefde voor deep house, maar ook voor techhouse en techno steeds meer bovendrijven, dit was ook te horen aan de producties. ‘Ik wil groeien als producer en een eigen EP releasen. De huidige producties zijn voornamelijk edit’s of deelnames aan remix competities waar ik veel van heb geleerd. Hopelijk resulteert dat in sterke eigen producties voor 2013’.
