This is a Restored, Remastered & Extended version of the famous UNRELEASED Main Title theme of the movie « Scarface » (1983) by Giorgio Moroder. This track was my favorite theme from the movie but unfortunately it has no official release at all. Why such a movie doesn't have a full soundtrack release? Why? The only versions of this track available are audio rips from DVD, bluray or video tapes... with SFX and terrible sound. Such a shame, really. Unbelievable! I know lots of people wanted this, so did I and nothing I found satisfied me. Therefore, I rebuilt it, restored it and remastered it from these damaged sources. There is almost NO sound effects anymore (or then very subtle). I used a DTS 5.1 bluray audio rip coupled with various other sources found here and there online. This was a real pain in the ass to do, believe me, it took me DAYS of work. And then I thought it deserved a bit more, so I extended it to 9 minutes, not simply looping it, not at all, I made it so it sounds different and won't feel like a loop. I did my best, considering from where it comes from, it's not too bad I think. However, far from perfection, I'm not a sound engineer, just someone learning this by himself. Hope this will push Mr Moroder to finally release this track officially (without the SFX! He has published this track on his Soundcloud account... with the SFX!).

Giorgio Moroder - Midnight Express - Chase [Remastered & Re-Extended by Gilles Nuytens]

This is a remastered and "re-extended" version of the famous « Chase » Theme from the movie "Midnight Express" by Giorgio Moroder (1978). Re-Extended because it has already been extended officially. There are actually 3 official versions of this track: the radio edit (3:38), the soundtrack edit (8:26) and the 12'' maxi single (13:06). I don't count of course all the hundreds of reprises and covers. The 12'' maxi single version basically looped the last 5 minutes from the soundtrack edit. With its 13 minutes long it really didn't need to be extended more. However, while I was remastering this, I wanted to add my little personal touch and here it is, with 3 more minutes. This makes of this version some sort of "ultra-extended" version. And this is not a basic loop of the last 3 minutes, I have been more creative! It's been remastered from the original vinyl in ultra high quality (24bits/96khz).

Giorgio Moroder - The NeverEnding Story - Ivory Tower [Extended & Remastered by Gilles Nuytens]

This is an extended version of the theme "Ivory Tower" from the movie "The NeverEnding Story" by Giorgio Moroder (1984). The music heard on the movie and the soundtrack album version(s) were different, both good but different, so I combined both of them and rearranged them. There's no loop on this version, all is from various and different tracks. I also improved the sound to make it more clear and sound better. I sharpened it to give it more clarity and enhanced a bit the bass. I'm not a sound engineer so I did what I could.

This is an extended version of the Metropolis main theme by Giorgio Moroder (from the 1984 movie edit). The music heard on the movie and the album version had different tones, both good but different, so I combined both of them and rearranged them. I also improved the sound to make it more clear and sound better with my tiny and limited sound editing skills.

Giorgio Moroder - Another Way D-Kikan-Joho (アナザー ウェイ D 機関 情報): Ocean Battle [Extended by Gilles Nuytens]

This is an extended version of the "Ocean Battle" theme from the Japanese movie « Another Way: D-Kikan-Joho (アナザー ウェイ D 機関 情報) » (1988) by Giorgio Moroder. This is a pretty unknown movie and music from the general public but Giorgio Moroder is, as always, on the top of his art here! I also improved the sound to make it more clear and sound a bit better. I sharpened it to give it more clarity and enhanced a bit the bass.

As a film music lover, I made a lot of extended & remastered versions of the best music themes (to my opinion and taste). I'm not a sound engineer, just someone trying my artistic skills at sound editing. Learning this by myself and for myself, basically.
