GRIFE is composed by Dan Grimm and Diego Feder, two very handsome guys from Curitiba (Brazil) that are trying very hard to write this bio whilst not submitting to the, mostly boring, very conventional, third person composition.

Having both developed the passion for music in the adolescence, the ordinary middle class brazilian life didn’t grant us the confidence and support to pursuit a musical career. Instead, we ended up on a 40 hours work week office job while studying to be engineers. It sucked!!! By no surprise, we found ourselves unable to fit in and feeling stuck in this everyday life.

However, as we were always developing our music skills, we met in 2017 (someone would call it kismet - we would not). And with very different backgrounds but the same driving force and passion to express our feelings and emotions through music, we started our journey together (cute huh?).

It didn’t take much time for us to be sharing musical projects, collabro-ing and putting hours of work to finally start living our dreams.

With a creative process based on experimentation, frustrated attempts and mostly, miss mouse clicks that somehow make something good, we are now able to create our own world and vision on music while always trying to get people to identify themselves with this sort of art we produce.

His sets that range from Deep to Tech are his trademark, which generated a prominent gain in the electronic scene of Minas Gerais. Today in the front line of the label UNDERSCENE, also living in Itajaí - SC, he has made presentations at major parties and festivals with national renown, among them Warung Tour Uberlândia, UP Club Uberlândia, Samsara Festival, and Soulvision Festival. His main differential is to present new trends to the audience, always including in his sets the musical amplitude of various styles, besides, he has a differentiated charisma that is remarkable in his stage presence and subtle mixes, which makes each performance unique.

Belgium’s Bigasti and Switzerland’s Floloco work in tandem to bring dreamy electronic music into the air with a narrative mix of both, deep and thriving elements. After years of experience in electronic music as individual artists, Gimérique unites the signature sound of two artists to a new chapter on their promising path in the electronic music scene.
It all started with a joint DJ set released on Schirmchendrink, which the two founded together. After several joint DJ sessions they felt it was about time to take the project to the next level.

With their first collaborative production in 2020, Gimérique took Lerr's 'Hummingbird' into deep and dreamy territory. Groovy and emotive in equal measure it made an auspicious production debut for Gimerique on Sound Avenue's first edition of their 'Re:Imagined‘ remix series. Gimérique's first original production 'Calm at Heart' was released in Spring 2020 on Harabe Recordings and explores a more ambient landscape of their sound. 'Calm at Heart" entered the Beatport 'Organic House' Top 100 charts within only few days.

Floloco and Bigasti individually are passionate about electronic music ever since they can remember.
