Carrying on with the momentum from DJ Panthr's excellent Source Drift EP, we here at Sound Transitions are proud to present a wildly reimagined soundscape in the form of a heavy hitting Remix EP. With remixes from Selfhood, Quelaan, Dpcld, and more, the EP takes material from DJ Panthr's bag of tricks and spins it into something else entirely.

Starting with Selfhood's slow building, emotional interpretation of "Liquid Light" with its stuttering drums and laser focused melodies to the head-spinning rhythms and rumbling low end of the Pinz & Pelz remix of "Source Drift" to the delicate deep house stylings of Memphis Glass to the abstract, wonked out IDM of 88b's version of " Shadow Realm" and finally arriving at Dpcld's featherweight, aqueous drum and bass version of "Liquid Light" the EP is a thorough journey through all of the dark corners of dance music.

Each producer brings their own unique voice and style to the already great tracks that DJ Panthr provided. They take the originals to new, unknown places in and around the dance floor. These remixes keep you on your toes and keep a smile on your face.

For our first premiere, we're very excited to be supporting one of the nuttiest compilations that we ever did hear, curated by one of our favourite emerging labels, Crazed Behaviour. The good news only continues as this Wales-based imprint have kindly invited us to premiere a ridiculous edit by our good friend Z. James. Perhaps most well known for his sublime UKG productions, released through his very own Kultura Collective and Dim Sum more recently, Zac's multi-genre production tendencies shine through on this bass-heavy, breaky 150 number.

Head over to the Crazed Behaviour Bandcamp to cop their second-ever V/A 'COUNTER ATTACK' featuring an action-packed line up including some of the best underground producers in the game. The Crazed Behaviour Crew have worked hard on refining their research methods, carefully sourcing talented producers that reside in the electro underworld. ANY BPM Vol. 1 is a various artists compilation curated by Bristol collective and label excess, with all proceeds to be donated in support of the Music Venue Trust's #saveourvenues campaign - a charity providing aid to the UK's most vulnerable live music venues. Over 15 tracks, the project showcases a diverse range of underground dance music, featuring artists both established and unsigned from Bristol and beyond. 

TROPHY rounds out the record, with the Leeds-based producer and TRAX HAVEN alumnus delivering possibly the switch-up of the year (just wait) on "We Got" - a swaggering halftime rhythm that shows off low-slung, punchy drums and a well-executed wobbling bassline.
