Cascada - Everytime We Touch (Gin and Sonic Remix)

Alex Caspian (Tagir Mandzhiev) - was born and lives in Elista, Republic of Kalmykia, Russia. He started making music in 2016, and 2 years later the artist had original tracks under the pseudonym Alex Caspian. In the same year, his first work Going High was released on Vunolideq Records. In 2020 he released the track "Pilot Brothers in Imanbek Style", a cover of the soundtrack from the Soviet cartoon by Alexander Tatarsky and Igor Kovalev in 1986. He took 3rd place in the remix competition for the song by American rapper ARIA "Reckless" on the site SKIO Music (Canada). After the musician's remix of Uliana Royce's song "Sayounara" was heard in the 156th issue of the Ukraine Dancing radio show, he began writing remixes for tracks by Ukrainian artists. In December 2020, he became a resident of the Ukraine Dancing label.

Hi Gooey here, thanks for listening. My first musical influences came from my Mum listening to Prince and MJ when I was a kid like millions of other 80s babies. That was followed by the hip-hop heavy soundtracks to basketball highlight videos(yes actual video cassettes) I watched endlessly in the 90’s. the first album I bought was 36 Chambers by Wu-Tang Clan in 93 and for years I was completely hooked on the crackly head nodding beats of golden age hip hop and didn’t really listen to anything else.

Until, a childhood friend came back to the UK from spending a few years in Johannesburg introduced me to a version house music, it was fairly minimal but the groove was incredible! 

Since then my style has evolved in all kinds of directions but always kept that hip hop attitude and that incredibly infectious groove. Enjoy.
