ORDER[DIS]ORDER started in Winnipeg where Gina & Corey would write and record song ideas on a cassette tape 4-track. In 2011, Corey moved to London and met Greg. After working as a session drummer on several records, Corey enlisted the help of Greg and they began working on arrangements and production of the then titled 'Safety Penguin' songs. Gina flew in from Winnipeg in November of 2011 and recorded vocals. During the same sessions drums & piano were added.

The production team enlisted the help of Scott Neufeld, Shawn Bisson, Erin Martins Santolupo & Scott Brunelle to complete the recording of the album. The trio were also helped immensely with production & sonic ideas by Dean Nelson (Beck, Thurston Moore, Stephen Malkmus).

After a year of writing, a massive amount of help from friends, and what seems like and endless run of 3am sessions worked around busy schedules the record was finally finished at the Hive - a vibrant loft in a century old building in old Toronto. This upcoming EP, named 'Divisions' is a 5 song trip, punctuated by guitars, haunting vocals & rhodes piano.

Though the sound was shaped in the studio, the group brings new life to the songs through live performance, choosing to attack the songs in an unconventional band format that tries to forge a true hybrid between intelligent electronic music, traditional band dynamics & experimental sound design.
