Since the beginning, we have been sending messages through the universal language of music, trying to reach your hearts. We are all in the same boat dear brothers and sisters, so let us with all our unique natures, shape this journey in a valuable and responsible way, so that the future will remain worth living.

The world we live in is currently changing very fast and drastically.
What used to be considered good is now defined as bad or even dangerous.
All values are turned upside down.
We get lost in opinions, predictions, judgments and confusions.
We point our fingers at others without seeing our own part.
The gab between people is wider than we ever thought possible.
But beyond judgment and evaluation, we find a space of truth and insight.

So how do we identify lies?
How the truth?
What is belief?
What is knowledge?
Are we really free in thinking, feeling, doing?
Are we conditioned, manipulated, already determined?

It is now time for us to reflect and center ourselves in all this chaos to recognize who we really are, what our responsibility is and to embrace it. This also means the end of the comfort zone, but implies the greatest freedom without any fear.

We are part of nature, not it's rulers nor it's victims.
Nature is the place we're all coming from. It's our original habitat, our home, our mother, our origin.
How can we not trust in it?
The more we separate ourselves from the origin, the stronger our lack of trust in it and thus in life becomes. We are afraid of not having control over things. But control is an illusion, just like fear.

We, will never give up on our roots, until our last breath we will insist on our natural right to live in freedom and harmony and also to tirelessly support others in doing so. We will always trust in our universal home, protect it, care for it and support it. Whether it is our own vessel or the big one in which we all cavort. We see that as our very own responsibility. Our responsibility as being a human.

It's time to open up, to wake up and remember the truth.

Live recording of my set at Garden of Joy on the final night/morning of Nowhere 2022, Europe's regional Burning Man (Sunday morning, 02.00-04.00). 

This was an improvised mixture of upbeat melodies and dark mental vibes, with some groovy basslines in between. I hope you enjoy the ride! The Nāṭya Śāstra (Sanskrit: नाट्य शास्त्र, Nāṭyaśāstra) is a Sanskrit treatise on the performing arts. The text is attributed to sage Bharata Muni, and its first complete compilation is dated to between 200 BCE and 200 CE, but estimates vary between 500 BCE and 500 CE

The text consists of 36 chapters with a cumulative total of 6000 poetic verses describing performance arts. The subjects covered by the treatise include dramatic composition, structure of a play and the construction of a stage to host it, genres of acting, body movements, make up and costumes, role and goals of an art director, the musical scales, musical instruments and the integration of music with art performance.

The Nāṭya Śāstra is notable as an ancient encyclopedic treatise on the arts, one which has influenced dance, music and literary traditions in India. It is also notable for its aesthetic "Rasa" theory, which asserts that entertainment is a desired effect of performance arts but not the primary goal, and that the primary goal is to transport the individual in the audience into another parallel reality, full of wonder, where they experience the essence of their own consciousness, and reflect on spiritual and moral questions.

His unique musical voyage combines a well-selected myriad of styles from Folktronica, Rub-a-Dub, Jungle & Tribal with a joyfully flamboyant vibe. In addition Don Mescal is the co-founder of Cosmovision Records, a collective created by a mix of immigrants from Latin America, Europe and locals from Canada, based in Montréal.

„For some time now, a feeling has been driving me, it is difficult to put into words, it is not rational, I cannot process it, it is just there. If I had to put it into words, maybe it would be a hint of departure. But for what and for whom? Although, it seems as if many things are coming to an end, I don't believe in that and I don't feel that either. Actually, as macabre as it may sound, I feel better than ever, but I can't say why and otherwise I always can.
I'm aware of how many people are living in fear, sorrow and sadness right now, so I keep asking myself, am I even allowed to feel this way? And I whisper it very softly, because I have also received it only as a whisper, 'yes you may'. Who is whispering there? Is it you world? Something is happening to us, to people, to the world, I don't know what, but I feel it's going to be good. And this feeling is still so drowsy, but I know it from somewhere for a very long time. It's like a loving mother kissing her child awake. It comes from my subconscious and it pushes gently and inexorably into my waking presence.
Out of this feeling, unconsciously at first, this set was born. It drives, because it stands for departure and in the end everything will be good.“
