World Disco Edits producer, the mexican Fernando makes his mixes on the same way playing some of his own tracks influenced by African, Latin and psychedelic American Funk like James Brown (who kissed the hand of his dad at a concert in Philadelphia mid 70's). A mystical vibe like the warm Caribbean nights between Tulum, Playa and Cancun, where @the-funk-district resides and spreads his music.

Whether it be for strutting with the bass as part of his band, Escort. Or unearthing gems on the label Deep n Disco... and more recently on his imprint Razor n Tape, Jason has an ear for a groove. It was only a matter of time then before we collared him, and got him to serve up a slice...
