Consisting of Rob and Carl who learnt their trade with the raggle taggle alt country band GINTIS, Jools and Hargi join after spending 11 years with Badass hard alt rock band CARPET and psych jammers MORFFE, and Ralph Latham from Abergele's finest buzz pop band JUNEBUG.

Remember the spirit of 88.  Dole queues getting bigger, the Conservatives in power and class war on the streets.

But at the same time, shining out of the gloom, came the birth of Acid House.  One of the most significant cultural movements of the 20th Century.  Before corporate clubbing in faceless venues with bland promoters always looking at the bottom line, this was community and creativity and spirit.

Now the Tories are back and the number of unemployed is rising again, but thankfully for those of you too young to remember the first time round or those of you who should know better but don’t, we give you The Tea Street Band

They are causing a minor riot every time they play.  In the past 6 months they have organized a series of warehouse raves featuring classic Acid House sets with guest DJs such as Andy Carroll (Cream, The State) as well as modern contemporaries James Rand (Chibuku).

Tea Street Band are a bastard mutilation that in its most extreme combines 808 State with Doves and the gang mentality of The Happy Mondays.  

Their balaeric anthem ‘Fiesta’ is a already a massive hit with the disillusioned youth in Liverpool. A strange and heady concoction that is making their growing fanbase keep coming back for more.  

These kids where not there the first time round but they are doing their best to lead the assault on a new balaeric summer of love in 2012.

Fuck me a real rock n roll band!  This will be a hedonistic adventure to remember.

Sona are a 3-piece post-grunge indie band from Bangor, North Wales. Formed in November 2003 in the garage of 25-year-old lead guitarist and vocalist Jamie Davies, the band's style has evolved since it's inception and their latest songs are almost unrecognisable from their original material. Bassist Kyle Lee joined the band in September 2008, bringing with him his melodic and powerful bass lines as well as ace song-writing skills. Hard-hitting drummer Adam Jones beefs up the Sona sound and pushes songs along.

Sona self-released 2 EP's ("Sona EP" in 2006 and "Underwater EP" in 2008) to excellent response, with songs off both EP's being played on BBC Radio as well as countless online Podcasts and independent Radio shows.

2010 saw the release of their debut full-length album, "Really Good With Cages", featuring 11 songs, recorded and produced by Nino Errico at Autumn Road Studios in Wrexham.

In September 2010, Sona signed to the label No Brand Recordings (formerly dPulse Recordings) who re-released their debut album as a digitial download, followed by physical release.

Their as yet untitled follow up to 'Really Good With Cages' will be released in 2011 and is set to contain Sona's most experimental material to date.

Gintis is following
