STOP SLEEPING

Punk flunky, indie drop out, marginally mathy, spacewards or maybe just some 80s fan, Stop Sleeping isn't just a synth and guitar wizard, but also an extremely versatile american singer who can emulate different vocal styles with impressive ease. BROKEN GENERATION's driving force is the Johnny Rotten-style vocals of Stop Sleeping and I believe this is the first of many collabs in the near future. CHRIS SCHLUE

Chris is an incredibly talented German guitarist and composer, and as if that weren't enough, he's a walking encyclopedia on all things mixing and mastering. Believe me, his ears are absolutely insane for detail and Chris is responsible for the exquisite technical quality of BROKEN GENERATION's mastering. Broken Generation

This track was created in collaboration with Xeoul during the early months of 2024, when I was experiencing a low point in my life. It marked the onset of my financial hardships, a period that you may know about, as I eventually became homeless for a time towards the end of 2024. However, during the beginning of 2024, I had just started what would have been my penultimate semester at Cal State Fullerton, and things appeared more promising. One aspect that contributed to my brighter outlook at the time was my involvement in this collaborative project.

"A War to crave" symbolizes the difficulty in finding a common language in all spheres. Whether it be the boundaries of the world or those of a couple. Of our differences in perception as well. In fact, there are differences, states that we cannot change in others. These are immutable things that even if they are unpredictable, we must embrace them. We must by love. We must take that risk of loving. And face our differences, that war. We must a continuous war. A war that we must embrace, The war of the other and our differences.
