Straight off their “Dead Fame” tour, Chicago’s Midnight Conspiracy are back with another addition to their remix repertoire--tackling Crystal Castles again, but this time in “Vietnam” off the Toronto duo’s new self-titled album. Stripping the original of its distant vocals and gritty dissonance that characterize the band, Midnight Conspiracy make the track their own with their signature synth-heavy italo sound. MC's first Crystal Castles effort, a spaced out re-imagining of the indie classic "Crimewave", reached the #2 spot on Hype Machine's most popular chart--TWICE.
