Two of Mexico’s most talented producers, Mexican Institute of Sound and Toy Selectah, have joined forces to create COMPASS. Since each are known for their ability to mix traditional Mexican sound with contemporary urban rhythms, they come together in “I’m A Soldier” to create a new type of dance music. While this track shows off the super duo’s best-known talent, it also contains elements of dancehall and hip hop as well. Not only does it sound like a turnt up mariachi band, but it is also a song we can imagine M.I.A. or Major Lazer turning up to.

They show a big spectrum of his work, from the accordeon to the guitar, from his own bassline to the voice recording, here everything which is home-made and sounds good is being worked up.
