It is fitting that the first LP on Partisan should also be the first for Kashawar, an extremely talented producer whose releases over the past few years have shot him to the forefront of the house and techno scene. After notable releases on the likes of Autoreply, Mosaic and his own label Black Puddle, Kashawar presents his “Resonate LP”, an explosive ensemble of rave-infused techno which travels beyond boundaries to defy the typical groove of 4X4 dance music.
Take the uptempo techno thrust of “Hochbetrieb” to the tightly wound electro percussion of “Orbitbass,” Kashawar's sound design unfolds around the LP plotting a course away from Earth towards parts unknown, proving to be his most daring work to date. The rippling synths and sci-fi FX of “Zero Gravity,” seem of a different dimension, while “Hundertdreissig” sparks experimental ambience between its crisp breakbeat percussion. In “Radical Ambient,” we are taken on a journey deep into space beneath evocative layers of mystery and suspense, his immersive atmospheres overall ensures your body will be instinctively swept along for the ride. This album is purposely designed to transport you somewhere far away, catapulting you beyond the techno stratosphere!
