It's been a while since I last uploaded something, so here's some music to fill that void for a period of time.

Here is the Rival Mode music from Puyo Puyo Sun. Some people may recognise this as Draco's Theme in Puyo Puyo 20th Anniversary (which in itself used both the Ketteiban and Arcade version transposes). This was rendered using the Sega Megadrive's Yamaha YM2612 FM Synthesiser Chip. All samples used in this rendition follow the 5 FM, 3 PSG and PCM/DAC channel limitations (if you can call it as such), and I had great fun doing this! This is played in the same transpose as found in Puyo Puyo Sun Ketteiban (which is three notes lower than the Arcade transpose).

Puyo Puyo Sun - Rival Mode (YM2612 Version)

I converted the SMPS data from the game using ValleyBall's SMPS2MIDI program which works extremely well for the most part. I used the Roland Drum Sample CD again, but all the instruments here are a mixture of Korg analog and Korg digital synths/workstations. I think for the e.piano I used a Korg M1, might've been the Wavestation though since it sounds pretty clean.

Castlevania: Rondo of Blood (悪魔城ドラキュラX 血の輪廻 Akumajou Dracula X: Chi no Rondo) is a platform-adventure video game developed by Konami for the PC Engine CD. It is set in the fictional universe of the Castlevania series, where the protagonist Richter Belmont goes to save his lover Annette, who was abducted by Dracula. It was released in Japan on October 29, 1993. A direct sequel to it, the critically acclaimed Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, was released in 1997. Castlevania: Dracula X, known as Akumajou Dracula XX (悪魔城ドラキュラXX) in Japan and Castlevania: Vampire's Kiss in Europe, was developed for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. While the plot is similar to Rondo of Blood and it uses many of the latter's graphics and music, it featured a different art style, redesigned levels, and altered gameplay elements (such as having only two alternate levels and Maria as a nonplayable character). It was released on July 21, 1995 in Japan, in September 1995 in the USA and Europe.
