4인조 그룹.


그룹 BIGBANG이 K-Pop에 남긴 가장 큰 업적은 기존의 아이돌이 갖고 있던 한계를 넘어 음악, 패션 등 문화 다방면으로 큰 영향력을 미쳤다는 점입니다. 2006년, BIGBANG이 처음 등장할 즈음만 해도 아이돌과 힙합은 접점이 거의 없었습니다. 멤버가 직접 작사나 작곡에 능동적으로 참여하는 모습도 새로웠죠. Wu-Tang Clan의 팬이었던 힙합 마니아 G-DRAGON, 중학생 때부터 래퍼로 활동한 T.O.P, 어릴 적부터 피아노를 치고 클래식 음악을 사랑했던 태양 등 멤버들의 다채로운 음악적 토양은 이들의 음악에 직접적인 영향을 주었습니다. G-DRAGON이 직접 작사 및 작곡에 참여한 '거짓말', '마지막 인사', '하루하루'가 연이어 히트를 기록하며 이들의 음악은 세대를 뛰어넘어 대중적으로 큰 사랑을 받았죠.

BIGBANG은 일렉트로 팝과 퓨처 베이스, 얼터너티브 R&B 등 블랙 뮤직을 바탕으로 당시 유행하던 해외 음악의 흐름 또한 발 빠르게 흡수했습니다. 그 결과 한국과 아시아뿐만 아니라 영미권에서도 이들의 음악이 주목받으며 인기를 얻었죠. K-Pop이라는 단어가 아직은 낯설던 시대, BIGBANG은 그룹에서 솔로, 유닛 활동까지 개성 넘치는 색깔을 보여주며 세계 시장의 문을 두드렸습니다. 프로듀서 TEDDY의 뛰어난 감각과 다섯 멤버의 실력, 그리고 무대 뒤에서의 끝없는 땀과 노력이 이러한 엄청난 성공의 밑바탕이 되었죠. 

2019년 탈퇴한 멤버 승리를 제외한 4명의 멤버는 2020년, 오랜 세월 함께한 YG Entertainment와 전속 계약을 체결하며 컴백을 시사했습니다. 공백기 동안 결혼과 입대 등 각자의 삶 속에서 인간적으로 성숙했을 이들이 어떤 음악으로 돌아올지 기대됩니다.

Proficient performer of piano, bass guitar, double bass, cello, 6 string , 12 string , drums, triangle (shall I include tambourine too?🤣), vocals, lyrics. 99% of the tracks on this page are original songs. None of my performances on any of my tracks, whether solo work, or collaboration, have any editing whatsoever. Effects and equalization? Of course! But no editing, no software, etc. Quite a substantial amount of these tracks are with The Eclectic Collective. We are like family and have been playing together on a daily basis since approximately March of 2022 as the Eclectic Collective. Before the band bore it's name Eclectic Collective; Josh, Ken, Stephen, Tez, and  CG Maness were doing some occasional collabs. At any given time we are all simultaneously working on about 15 different songs. And when we feel they are done cooking in the oven we release them.  We release a song every week on Fridays at 4AM UTC

TAPATORA name has multiple meanings. It is an ancient name for a male that was mainly used in Finland. It is also the name of an island near Tampere and if you translate it in English, it means kill the quarrel / dispute / wrangle.
