Texas Recording Artist/Audio Engineer from Edna,Tx now in Austin,Tx .Platinumstar’s music career started as a “screwed & chopped” DJ in middle school with the inspirations from Houston’s own DJ Screw & Michael “5000” Watts. With the Texas culture being that everyone would freestyle Platinumstar started to make songs on his own from his parents house, to home town studios from Victor Prince & Mobb Raider from Wharton,Tx all the way to the college dorm rooms of Prairie View A&M to Mary-Hardin Baylor University. Platinumstar’s professionalism in music started to come about when he joined the United States Navy and got stationed in San Diego, California. Platinumstar then met industry Artist and Producers who would then become friends and helped him record his first professional studio record. Producer Isiah Salazar, recording artist Young Smoke Lee, Bakes, Young Sativa showed him what being a professional artist was & showing that putting out good quality music was the way. Platinumstar displaying his skills on “Chosen Ones” showed that Platinumstar was just getting started & the best was to come.He also was part of a rising group called “The Black Party” which was accompanied by Young Smoke Lee & Young Sativa. Afterwards, He continued on his career being a solo artist beside Producer Charley Turner. His single “Be Honest” with Andy J is now climbing in numbers with more releases also being consistently put out.Through his growth over the years it looks like Platinumstar is here to stay.

I'm fresh out the Penitentiary, just did 4 outta 5 years. Been Rapping and Songwriting since the 6th grade. Originally from South Central Los Angeles, CA. Been in Washington state for a while stuck in the injustice system and Correctional facilities. Blew a lot of great music opportunities because of my lifestyle in the streets. But now I'm that I'm out I'm about to do my thang. Started my own label in 1999 called 509 Production and my newest addition Grade A Music and BeatzGalloure, also got my own clothing line called "SuperbOnes," everything coming together and I'm doing it all solo on my own, a fresh start. Currently in college mayoring in Music Production.  So yes I'm a Producer too mothafuckaz. I'm got that old school, raw underground hi hop flow but I've also evolved to the new fast, melodic style flow. So I kid it up both and there you go. My name is Cristian Jiovani but my allies is Da Infinit Poetik. My music is on some feel good shit, some subliminal, metaphorical, lyrical content, something for the hood, for the prisoners, for the ladies, for the real ones, the stoners and the drinkers. I got some battle rap  shit. Overall I'm on some street, lyrical, poetikal shit. Every thing on here is copyright as far as the real versus but not all bcuz most are freestyle. All this content here is all my original shit except certain beats are not. These are just samples of my music, all the real projects, the mastered songs are on hold for later but for time being this here is just a preview so fuck with me and enjoy the show. I'm no longer a gang banger nor putting mad work anymore, I'm a OG now 35 years old I paid my dues and earned my stripes but I've grown up and changed my ways now I'm into bigger and way better things, positive things, but down get it twisted if jepordize my life or my loved ones then I won't hesitate to murk. For any minor offense I got back to prison for long stretches so I'm not playing I'll make it worth time but please don't make me.
