DJazz’s fifth and final offering for 2025 serves as a follow-up to ‘Tantric Acid Vol. I’, released earlier this year. ‘Tantric Acid Vol. II and Opening Tracks for Floating Points’ is a three-track, slow-paced electro-acid EP that features iconic 303 basslines and 808 drums. Each track carries a crunchy mix sounding warm across all channels. 
Tom with the Weather: The slowest track of the EP, combines layered breaks, bongos, 808s, 303 bassline, and recorded guitar & keys. It features a Bill Hicks quote - “Today a young man on acid realized…” culminating in an ego-dissolving statement and a satirical sign-off reminiscent of a weatherman’s report. The second half transitions into a breakbeat-driven section, replacing the earlier disco groove, while weird, groovy effects ripple through the recurring sample, “Tom with the Weather”.
