In addition to singing and recording in multiple languages, Tuğçe collaborates with the talented Santi in song-writing and musical production. As the founder of the Kybele project, she develops opportunities for greater collaboration and broader inclusion of artists from around the world. Since 2016, Tuğçe has produced podcasts and played DJ sets for numerous radio shows, record labels and live events. With MONADA BRAHMA 001 she invites us on an intercultural acoustic journey with smooth vibes and dope influences woven in a heart-opening downtempo beat. So let the stars dance in a vortex of the cosmic monads! :))

ROAD TO BAMAKO: in just a few days, the ElectrAfrique caravan will be headed to Bamako for our 6th event in the Malian capital... This is a trip back to the roots for us... having kept the show going throughout the ups and downs that the country has known for the last few years... it's been a priority to keep coming back to Bamako, a city we love, to bring pan-African dance music that unites, and to take our Malian fam and friends on a musical journey across the country and to the extremes of the Continent. 

This edition is co-produced with OkayAfrica and Carrefour Creatif, teaming up with very special guest Inna Modja, who will be back home for the occasion, and the brother Abou Denon, the maestro of the Bamakois club scene, along with myself... expect a deep and powerful journey along these DJ vibrations...

In the month of June, when living gets easy and temperatures are rising, it is the perfect time to enjoy a tropical cocktail. And it couldn’t get more tropical than with today’s special. 100% natural, refreshing and healthy: the coconut, cracked open by no one less than the Sol Selectas label head, Sabo.  

Sabo’s name has long been held in high esteem with the Afro-Latin House and the Moombahton scene. Today, Sabo is digging deeper into Tribal and Tech sounds. Behind the decks, his innovative approach to each DJ set makes him a consistent stand out at Festivals like Coachella, Lightening in a Bottle, Shambhala, Fusion, Symbiosis, Desert Hearts, Further Future, and Burning Man’s Robot Heart bus.  

As a label boss, he is known for his dynamic vision. Sol Selectas started back in 2004 as vinyl only imprint and platform for Sabo’s remixes and mashups. Today the label captures a wide array of sounds, enlisting up and coming underground producers from all over the globe, as well as prominent well-known producers in the industry, focusing the sound on deep spiritual dance music, guiding its listeners into the future realm with positive intention. 

Sabo once said he likes to DJ outdoors within nature, where he feels connected to the Earth when dancing. His sets always tell a story, with lots of tribal percussions, this time filled with super chilled out vibes and foot tapping downtempo beats. It’s never aggressive, but always groovy. You can literally hear the waves breaking into a magical turquoise lagoon, filled with colorful tropical fish and fringed by palms, when sipping off this delicious Coconut.  

By the way did you know that plastic straws make the top 10 list of litter items on beaches? One of the best way to reduce your plastic footprint is to avoid using plastic straws and use stainless steel straws instead. As we did for Sabo’s coconut

Parker has a long career in DJing. In 2010 he celebrated his 30th music anniversary. He has been actively DJing in hundreds of cities around the world. These events range from night clubs (large and small) to music festivals with more than 100,000 people. Since 1988, Parker has released more than 100 recordings on various labels, and has had top 20 hits with his songs "Love's Got Me High", "The Question" and albums like "Detroit After Dark" in the U.K., The Netherlands, Germany, and France. He is nicknamed "The Telephone man" because he uses a telephone handset as headphones.

In recent years his nickname changed to 'The Vanishing Man' due to the number of DJ shows he received money for but never turned up to play at.

Promoters across Asia, South America, Europe and Africa reported encounters with 'The Vanishing Man'

His father suffers from a mysterious ailment brought on by Terrance's imminent departure on a flight to play DJ gigs.

His seminal track 'The Question' will be re-released in 2019 with Shapeshifters and Venga Boys remixes with a new B-side track entitled 'When will I Get My Money Back?'
