Eagles & Butterflies has led a a charmed life since the outset really, with his productions picked up by John Digweed's Bedrock and more recently, a residency at Space Ibiza's Friday night shindig, Clandestin, to his name. His latest cut marked his return to the Spread Your Wings imprint  and made our single of the week as we championed the heady, jam-packed series of tracks made for the floor.

Following  on from the release Eagles and Butterflies has now  exclusively shared his set from last weeks performance for Bedrock alongside John Digweed and Max Cooper for all of us not fortunate enough to make it down to Fire. iI might just be time to sit back and watch as Eagles & Butterflies takes flight…

Techno Dj Set Underground Sound Tech House mix (Hive Berghaim)

eierschaukeln @ hive has been one of my absolute favorite events since i started dancing in clubs. this year, 10 years later, i was asked to dj on my favorite floor on my favorite day. <3 (monday daytime - if you know, you know hehe) 

lately it's become super rare for me to arrive behind the booth and feel confident and relaxed from the very first second. it's also super rare that i listen back to a recording after a gig and feel satisfied. this time it happened, i literally dived in & let it flow. and even though i, as always, briefly wondered whether i should upload it: HERE IT IS :D i loved the vibe on easter at hive, i loved the crowd, i loved the daylight at tanzstube, i loved the sound system and the team, so it's just lovelovelovelove for everyone and everything.

i'm still so happy and just wanted to share that with you :))

It is always special to attend the party and it is even more so when you get the chance to own the position behind the decks.

Back at the Noodle Lounge once more, which means time for some downtempo. It's magical what Downtempo can do to you. You can feel it deep in your body, but also like a warm blanket around you. Once again the vibe in the Noodle Lounge was enchanting, warm and cosy. Mixing was from to time a bit difficult, because if you stretch downpitching to the max there almost no room for error ;) challenging so to say, however I loved every minute of it! <3

Ohxalá is the musical project of a Portuguese duo: Maria & Luís. Maria works as a printing technician in a photo lab and Luís works as a website programmer moreover both devote much of their non-working hours to music and photography. From this dedicated and parallel passion started the will to make it alive somehow and, consequently,it had been growing faster particularly since the recent adventure of the duo in Germany in 2016. Such a journey is the starting point of this plot. On his return to the Portuguese lands, eager for information; an effervescent and inspiring will to investigate and absorb settled in the duo. They are in need of a call to go through other times, other peoples; which have completely overwhelmed them.

Tuğçe Kurtiş is the first soul-bird sharing her special sound with us. Born in Istanbul, Turkey, Tuğçe grew up with a love for music. She studied voice, jazz vocals and west-african drumming and is known for her ethereal & clear voice. She performed in countless occasions and her musical output crosses genres and continents. In addition to singing and recording in multiple languages, Tuğçe collaborates with the talented Santi in song-writing and musical production. As the founder of the Kybele project, she develops opportunities for greater collaboration and broader inclusion of artists from around the world. Since 2016, Tuğçe has produced podcasts and played DJ sets for numerous radio shows, record labels and live events. With MONADA BRAHMA 001 she invites us on an intercultural acoustic journey with smooth vibes and dope influences woven in a heart-opening downtempo beat. So let the stars dance in a vortex of the cosmic monads! :))

The amazing cover art is a contribution by Radka Soulart. Radka Tiarksova's highly vibrating art is a true blessing and just as lively, colorful & profound as the life we call reality. We’re deeply grateful for this special art fusion and are happy to have the possibility to share it with all of you. ❤

As for every upcoming podcast we choose an artwork correlating to the sound, the artist and the story behind it. For our lovely monad Tuğçe we’ve chosen Radkas „The children of hot suns“: It's a kind of reflection to her EP "Songs for my grandmother" and for us it playfully shows Tuğçe and her grandmother in another dimension.

Last but not least the intro …
Together with San Miguel's daughter we created a special intro, coming deep from our hearts, which will accompany us through our podcast journey.

 Here is the recording of my very first sunrise set at Burning Man 2018 in the Black Rock Desert. I started playing around 5:45 am, the lights and lasers were still glowing in the cold darkness of the night..as the songs were passing by, the sky turned blue and the horizon warmer. Burners were all facing the deep playa, waiting for the sun to appear. It was an honour to soundtrack this moment and share music in such a magical place. No matter how hard I try, words can barely describe the energy and emotions felt in that instant... I hope music can express it better. 

I'd like to thank Maxa Camp & The Gardens of Babylon for inviting me to play on this beautiful Xaman Art Car...the mystical blue deer.   I’m very grateful to have shared this moment with so many incredible souls, old and new friends.

Pale Penguin is one of the key figures in Greek electronic scene. Based in Thessaloniki, Greece, he’s been djing for almost 25 years now. Since early 2007, he has launched and manages V.I.M. (Very Important Music) Records, releasing quality Breaks, Tech-House, Electronica singles and albums by many International and Greek artists. In the beginning of 2011 he has started the Afrotropical parties/events DISCOTECA INTERNACIONAL with great success till today, while together with Stama (ERASE RECORDS owner) he has launched DIABLO LOCO RECORDS, a label inspired by traditional Mexican wrestling and the famous Luchadores, specialized in top quality Tech-Breaks/Tech-Funk releases.
