Who is Wordbenda?
As you can tell from my name;  I shape, stretches, move, and mold words through poetry to tell tales!
Tales of a young man from a fast paced, modern African urban city(Nairobi). My live performance is charged with energy and real time engagement with the audience. I love live music and have a band that backs me up with an unique fusion of jazz and hip hop.

What inspires your art?
Pain, joy, love, hunger and all that is life! When I feel strongly about something I write! I must say the search for inner peace, truth and God all comes up in my lyrics. I know what it means to be the underdog, the uncool, the misfit. Now  I seek to inspire myself and others to be as bold as lions!
