Banpay Crew nasce a Firenze nell'estate del 2002 dall'incontro di tre dj accomunati dalla passione per la musica reggae.

Inizialmente costituita da Ras Ghigo alla voce, Jona e Orso alla selezione, la crew successivamente si allarga con l'ingresso di Mista SmarthOne e DJ Slot, dj già attivi da tempo nella scena dancehall/hiphop fiorentina.

Negli anni il sound si è fatto conoscere attraverso l'organizzazione di centinaia di serate e attraverso una ricerca musicale continua, mai ferma, che mira a proporre una visione a 360 gradi della musica nera.

Banpay Crew was born in Florence in the summer of 2002 by a group of three DJs share their love for reggae music.

Initially consisting of Ras Ghigo, Jona and Orso in the selection, the crew then expands with the entry of Mista SmarthOne and DJ Slot, DJs have long been active in the dancehall / hiphop Florentine.

Over the years the sound has become known through the organization of hundreds of gigs and music research through a continuous, never stops, which aims to propose a 360-degree view of black music.
