They’ve become such an important part of my life. Not only do I love listening to them, but DJing has become a way for me to really express myself. I'm also hoping to start learning production soon so I can create my own tracks.There are so many artists who have inspired me along the way, but a few who really stand out are Sorenga, Cekta, Aldes, and DKOXY. There are definitely more, but I don't want to make the list too long. Big shoutout to TXME and GNX too, two awesome local DJs who’ve been with me since the beginning. CSQ: Tell us a bit about your local techno scene. How has it shaped you as an artist?

aXe: Techno has been growing significantly in the Netherlands in recent years. Due to the hype, I encountered Bochka at an event about 1.5 years ago. From the moment I heard it, I knew I wanted to do something with this style. The growing popularity and increasing number of events motivates me every day to break through.

CSQ: Would you like to share anything with the listeners about the set?

aXe: The set consists of Bochka and industrial tracks with dark, rough kicks. My goal was to create a good balance between minimal breaks and occasional build-ups in this set.

CSQ: How does the set reflect the development of your style and your DJing since you started?

aXe: I started out playing hard techno until I discovered bochka. It completely changed my playing style, as I moved from using a lot of breaks to just a few. Watching other DJs at bochka events has also helped me refine and develop my style further.
