Melbourne born George Hysteric has become a jack of all trades and master of many. 
Beginning to create originals and edits on vinyl since 2011 and meanwhile running his Italo-disco centric label Mothball Record. 

His unique Italian disco and exotic international flavours have found their way into several worldwide labels, as well as led him into becoming an in-demand re-editor and remixer for reissue projects on labels such as Strangelove, Glossy Mistakes and ZYX Music.

This mix is a small window into his vast vinyl collection of ’80s synth and disco oddities, mysterious dubs, and epic "hands in the air" zest. A true tastemaker delivering an epic, unbound journey.

Hysteric - Alter Disco Podcast 89

After slaughtering more than 100 tracks from the year 1984 for a digital grandmix, this is the exact opposite: Vinyl only, recorded in one go. No digital Schnickschnack (apart from normalizing the recording...).

It's a selection of some of my Italo-Disco favourites from my vinyl collection. A lot of represses, some originals and even some originals that were repressed lately, but I kept the original despite its questionable condition (yes, I am looking to you "Time out"!).
