You won’t find a club track more thoroughbred than one that organically started life in a club. Or, as is the case of ‘Musica’, one that was born inside an aircraft-hanger-sized arena, live and of-the-moment in front of a 10,000+ trance fans. 

Every bit as much caught in that moment himself, ‘Musica’ gleamed out of the mind of Giuseppe Ottaviani at last November’s immense Dreamstate event. In the middle of a test run of his new tech set-up Live 2.0, club met studio and the Italian converted its key elements in real time. 

Music doesn’t get more spontaneous and feedback doesn’t get any more instantaneous! Right space, right crowd and right atmosphere had made for the mother of all inspirations.  
Energized by its reaction, in the week that followed Giuseppe brought the track into a more traditional studio setting. Machined, refined and finely honed, he’s turned an ID diamond into a pristine piece of shining trance. ‘Musica’ had gone from Dreamstate to finished state in under week! 

As Giuseppe himself says “on stage, you have to live in the moment”. ‘Musica’s the direct result of that approach… and likely the first of many.

Next-gen live-on- stage concept performances, bold new studio directions and - most recently - breaking artist album news… Electronic music artisan Giuseppe Ottavani has already given the scene plenty to consider and plenty to cheer in 2016.

Following the spellbinding Slow Emotion in July, the Italian beats the ALMA album drum that much harder today, with the release of its second single, ‘Brightheart’. Flipping his of-late script, the track represents Giuseppe’s first male-vocal fronted production in over two years and teams him with the highly talented Christian Burns.

Having sung on a litany of luminaries’ releases (Tiësto, Armin, BT, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten and Chicane to mention but a few), Christian has demonstrated his impressive vocal worth time and time again. The brilliant Brightheart though could just prove to be both artists finest studio moment to date.

ALMA is shaping up to be one autumn’s most intriguing album propositions and here’s another example of why. Moving its progress bar another step closer to release, Brightheart brings new aspects, elements and 
perspectives to both Giuseppe and Christian’s oeuvres.

After Slow Emotion, the track sees Giuseppe operating again well outside of his best-known-for sound. His Extended Mix carves a far deeper and more palpably atmospheric edge to the track. Moodier in places, more soulful in others, every production element is brilliantly honed &amp; superbly defined within the track’s context.

To that Christian delivers a next level high in profound songwriting and expressive vocals. Concluding with a chorus that’ll live long in the mind - well after the track itself has played out, this is an anthem-in- the-making for those in search of music more meaningful.

The first single to be taken from his forthcoming debut artist album, ‘Frozen Ground’ reunites ilan Bluestone with British singer / songwriter Giuseppe De Luca. 

Since joining the label in 2014, ilan has been at the forefront of the evolving trance sound. With an ear for hooky instrumentals, organic chords and dance floor minded productions, the likes of ‘Big Ben’, ‘Spheres’ and ’43’ became euphoric moments in DJ sets for the likes of Above & Beyond and Armin Van Buuren.

A prolific touring artist, ilan has headlined the Anjunabeats North American tour in 2016 and 2017 as well as joining Above & Beyond at Madison Square Garden and Sydney’s All Phones Arena.

The follow up to ilan and Giuseppe’s breakout hit ‘Bigger Than Love’, ‘Frozen Ground’ was debuted during Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy 200 show in a sold out 13,000 capacity Ziggo Dome.

For Giuseppe, inspiration for the song came after he joined ilan on stage at EDC, “there’s something about witnessing a sea of people gathered together to feel something that really helps to warp the borders of reality. I had this Brechtian idea of a specific sound, that when heard, would snap the listener out of their everyday veneer and allow them to connect with who they truly are. On Frozen Ground, I feel that sound, forever."
