Beginning summer with the emotional journey of the Sunrise Set, the midpoint is traditionally highlighted by our annual Coldharbour Day celebrations. It's a small way for our Coldharbour family to say thanks to everyone who supports the label, and those responsible for creating the tracks we cherish.

This tradition is another passion project for me, with a four hour journey made especially for the occasion; constructed among travels across three continents. It's a continual weave of current favorites, a few nods to the future, and opening up the Coldharbour archives; with the thrill of reliving, and sometimes even rediscovering beautiful melodies we may have forgotten.

Hope you enjoy this set, and thanks for supporting throughout the busy season. Still lots of wonderful memories to create together in the next few weeks, with the release of Summer of '99 and more singles on the way, and some special live shows including Avalon in Los Angeles on Saturday August 17.

Solarstone presents Pure Trance Radio Episode 420

In a season of surprises, the pivotal influence of the wonders of radio on Markus Schulz isn't one of them. The theater of the mind, the friend who is always there no matter what time of day or night. One particular aspect of radio which deeply resonates with Markus to this day is the period between Christmas and New Year, where classics and championed tracks dominated the airwaves. 

A few years after establishing his weekly Global DJ Broadcast radio show, a new tradition was born; where he would honor and cherish those special melodies and words through the Classics Showcase. This one in particular is extra special, as it marks the milestone 20th edition; meaning that there are now some 40 hours of Global DJ Broadcast Classics Showcase episodes created with the special one to one connection towards the listener in mind. Hopefully there is one particularly special melody or song in there that means a lot to you personally.

Wishing all of you a very happy and healthy 2025, and thank you for continuing to support Markus and Global DJ Broadcast. Another exciting year of weekly checkins, world tours, event specials and collectors edition themed mixes await.
