Welcome to A Complete Balearic Journey - Session 40 - Spring 2014, the first in a series of all new adventures taking YOU (the listener) on a voyage through the seasons and sound. I feel that each season has its own unique sound, a sub-genre that provides an aural feel of what our other senses experience.

SPRING . . . it seems as if I have waited forever, though I feel as if I had not endured the darkness of Winter I more than likely wouldn't appreciate April and all that this month brings to such an extent . . . Here in Holland, MI USA (my little corner of the world), the unmistakable signs of Spring abound, the budding trees are ready to burst forth with new leaves, the first flowers are up and so very close to exposing their colored blossoms, robins (the traditional bird of Spring) have returned signing a song that seems to carry a message; the light has returned and YOU have survived (again). Beginnings . . . as this season arrives, so do the Spring 2014 Sessions. WE have made it all the way to Session 40; three years ago I honestly did not think WE would make it to Session 4). I feel very centered as I write, sitting here at my computer with the doors & windows open, enjoy the night and a soft breeze that seems so very cleansing . . . Oh, and the Spring sunsets, they've been so incredible . . . guess I'll write about that next month.

Many changes are in store for The Official DJ WOLF e. Fan Page, I will continue to list a few each month here in the event invitations for A Complete Balearic Journey, the rest YOU can read about in The Official DJ WOLF e. Fan Page - Quarterly Update - Winter - 2014. I am updating the Notes section this month, so if YOU happen to notice certain posts disappear, no worries they are all still there. Regarding #conquerchicago, I will have Phase 1 posted by the time YOU are listening to this podcast. The majority of the Phase 1 LIVE PERFORMANCE dates will occur during Memorial Day Week / Weekend. If YOU are unable to attend a Phase 1 event, there is still the entire Summer . . . ! #conquerchicago is only (like so many things) just beginning . . . By now I am sure that the majority of YOU have seen the #conquerchicago promotional items that will be given away during all my LIVE PERFORMANCES . . . ! (all items will not be available at each performance) There are more to come (some are extremely limited). I am more than happy to autograph an item for YOU either before or after a performance. A Complete Balearic Journey - Session 40 - Spring 2014 - DJ WOLF e. brings US to Spring Sessions. WE begin in April, travelling upwards and exploring the feeling and / or emotion of STARTING AGAIN. After just one listen to the track, I knew instantly that it would become the centerpiece of this journey and the Spring Sessions in general. All the right tracks fell into place and happiness became such an obvious theme throughout this mix, as well it should be for I am truly filled with the glory of Spring & hope that YOU will be too upon listening . . .

It's 10:00 p.m. on an April night & WE are headed out; forget the taxi WE will walk. A fresh Spring rain has fallen creating a maze of puddles along the way, the child inside takes over and WE simply can't resist grabbing hands and jumping full force into the largest one on OUR path, water splashes all around, droplets held for a moment in the reflection of passing lights. Arriving at OUR destination ready to dance, a sudden realization, WE have DARED TO START . . . AGAIN; CHILL, Nu DISCO, progressive HOUSE, Balearic HOUSE, progressive TRANCE, Balearic TRANCE & epic TRANCE provide the perfect backdrop as WE begin OUR journey upwards . . .
