Based in Russia, Mokre’tzy Konstruktor is one of the best kept secrets of minimal wave and experimental electronics. Fusing gritty synths, mangled drum machines, delays, alien vocals and an improvisational style, Forms is destined to be a new classic.
Influenced by music’s psychological impact on perception of the surrounding world, and spelled out in their own words, Forms is “an attempt to cut through its dark component, to quickly reflect the emotional state of the moment. Inspired by reflections on the frailty of life... The attitude towards what turns out as a result is devoid of claims and musical ambitions; just an experiment to get to know yourself better.”

Dead Violets Night is the stage name of the DJ and producer who founded El Garaje de Frank. A track by the Turkish post-punk project Rain To Dust served to capture the flavour of the French DJ's sessions in an image. Originally from Savoy, but already a key part of Madrid's nightlife, Dead Violets Night took her first musical steps in the world of metal, playing the guitar in various bands. Later, she fell in love with electronic and dark music and swapped her guitar for turntables. From El Garaje, she has promoted the most underground electronic music scene and has attended all kinds of European electronic festivals. Although she started DJing at the end of last year, the pandemic has helped her to dedicate herself body and soul to the decks and make a great selection of EBM, acid, industrial techno and electro. Her first sessions saw the light in the medium she helped to found and had a fantastic reception internationally. A lover of darkness and dynamic, eclectic sets, you can always find some EBM and acid in her vinyl-only mixes. Without a doubt, there are plenty of dead violet nights ahead of us.
