
Pocket Panda delivers tightly orchestrated music that encompasses the complexities of the human spirit; laughter, loathing, strife and liberation (oh, and LOVE).  They combine indie, folk, reggae, classical and funk to take listener on an emotional journey.  Based in Seattle, we have been giving the northwest an ever evolving sound comparable to; Sufjan Stevens, Arcade Fire, Fleet Foxes, The Decemberists and Dolly Parton.  They released an EP in 2013 and plan to release a full length album in 2014.

Home-cooked tracks with a pinch of salt and a dash of summer, hot and fresh right out of the pacific northwest.

Born & raised in Fresno, CA, I relocated to Seattle, WA in late 2012. I listen to & have played in an eclectic mix of musical genres throughout the years, ranging from reggae, ska, rocksteady, soul, indie rock, punk, funk, latin, and top 40. Some of the bands I've played for include: 
The Suppressors, The Burners, The Ecliptics, The Reputations, Lotus, Heavy Weather, Latin Touch, Agent Spy, Boddah, The Ivan Flange Combo, The Real Steel Drum Band, and others. I've had the privilege of sharing the stage with, and/or opening up for such artists as: (in no particular order) Checkmate!, Venice Shoreline Chris, Chris Murray Combo, The Skatalites, Fishbone, The Revivers, The Debonaires,  Ocean 11, The Allentons, The Inciters, Police & Thieves, Rude Boys Outta Jail, Pato Banton, Warsaw, The Sentiments, The Longshots, The Georgetown Orbits, Los Hooligans, Monkey, War, Malo, Brenton Wood, Zapp and Roger, The Gap Band, Jorge Santana, Bruce Conte, El Chicano, Tierra, Mary Jane Girls, Lydia Pence & Cold Blood, and probably a few others I don't remember.
For me, music is about having fun, having a creative outlet & being able to thrive in positive environments.
