After releases on Toolroom or Tinted Records, Panos Vasilonikolos, better known as Pansil, releases his second production on Confection Music, the new label run by Steven ‘Sugar’ Harding, former producer and member of Milk & Sugar.

Born in Athens, Greece, Pansil gained a natural ability to get the crowd moving on the dancefloor with his tracks, which established him as a music producer and DJ personality on major markets including Ibiza, UK, Netherlands, ltaly, USA, and of course Greece. Pansil’s open musical mind is related to studies on classical and symphonic orchestral repertoire in percussion instruments at the lonian University and the National University of Athens. He has collaborated with some of the big classical symphonic orchestras as principal timpanist, playing with them in major venues & festivals.

As an established house music DJ and producer, Pansil has garnered immense love and support from prominent figures in the electronic music scene. Well-known artists such as Diplo, Oliver Heldens, the Bingo Players, Acraze and Nora En Pure have all taken notice and kept an eye on him. Recently, Pansil has also collaborated with Alex Gewer, Husky and The Cube Guys, resulting in exciting club reactions.

His latest track, titled 'In The Music', evokes nostalgic vibes from the classic house era of the early 2000s. Many will fondly remember the infectious vocal line "I Got A Love In The music", which was guaranteed to get dancefloors buzzing with energy. Pansil's new house sensation will be in stores on 10. August 2023.

Glasgow Underground was set up in 1997 by Kevin McKay. He began the label releasing his own music and collaborations with friends and other Glasgow-based artists (Omid 16b, Studio Blue, DJ Q, Harri). Through his DJing and work for various music magazines (Muzik, Jockey Slut, Mixmag Update) he met some of his favourite producers of the time (Romanthony, Mateo & Matos, Idjut Boys...) and convinced some of them to join him releasing on GU. In the early 2000s, Kevin met Mylo and set up the Breastfed record label. The global success of "Destroy Rock & Roll" meant Glasgow Underground was put on hold. After leaving the Breastfed label in 2011, Kevin re-started Glasgow Underground and since then the label has gone on to re-invigorate Romanthony's catalogue with remixes from the likes of Dixon, MCDE, Gerd, Andres, Oliver Dollar, Ejeca, Audiojack, Claptone, Christian Nielsen, Supernova, Jimmy Edgar and Waifs & Strays. The label has also introduced producers like Daniel Trim, Brett Gould, Mia Dora and Illyus & Barrientos as well has releasing established & rising stars such as Metodi Hristov, Stefano Ritteri and Sabb.
