With a massive output of collaborations in the last couple of months with Tube & Berger, Paji, Flo MRZDK or Chemical Surf, it’s definitely time again for Juliet Sikora to bring her very own and long-awaited EP to your speakers! After her huge success being producing part next to Tube & Berger on “Come On Now (Set It Off)” last year, “Larrys Garage EP” consisting of two tracks is one of the most promising releases on the Kittball-catalogue for the first half of 2015. The title track grooves with a deep bass going with a female soul vocal and a cheering crowd which is something in accordance for the upcoming summer and Open Air-Season. “Tender Trip” is a small following to the underground sound of the 90’s tripping with a more classic base and acid-biased loops. All in one this is a package you should keep a strong eye on as it will for sure touch you more often the next months! 2015 is going to be a massive year for Juliet Sikora with an output of strong remixes for Lane 8, Notize & Fura and further collaborations with Tube & Berger, Nakadia and Berlin based Lars Moston!

Originally hitting the musical shelves way back in 1999, Basement Jaxx’s seminal ‘Jump n Shout’ was one of the tracks that launched this acclaimed duo into the hearts and minds of dance music fans all over the world. This ragga-tinged single sums up the continued appeal of Basement Jaxx – adding the fun and individuality back into the scene, and bringing a melting pot of diverse musical influences into club-ready House music. 

Toolroom is delighted to bring ‘Jump n Shout' back to modern dance-floors with an incredible new remix from Pacha Ibiza resident, Erik Hagleton. A secret weapon for a select few DJs over the past 6 Months, it's now picking up countless A-list DJ support alongside a plethora of recent Radio One plays from Annie Mac and Danny Howard. Make no mistake, this is set to be the tune to light up the end of 2016.

Erik retains those unique and timeless vocals and lays them over a tough and tribal tech house groove with insane amounts of energy, and the result is pure dance floor fire! Expect to see, and more importantly hear, this a lot over the coming weeks.  And don’t be surprised if this is the soundtrack to the first moments of 2017 being brought in on a dance floor near you…

Produced exclusively for his coveted ‘Franky Rizardo In The House’ compilation mix, you can now get your hands on these two masterful edits from Franky Rizardo. Firstly he takes on Nick Curly’s ‘Underground’, a contemporary deep house classic, alongside Whitesquare’s ‘Abduction’ which is taken from his ‘Reflection EP’ released on DFTD in early 2017. The result is an upfront tech house powerhouse with Whitesquare’s whomping bassline littered with neat percussive hooks, layered under Worthy Davis’ sultry vocals.  Second track ‘Forward Pleasure’ splices Paolo Rocco’s ‘Move Body, Move Forward’ with Coyu’s ‘Profound Pleasure’, maintaining the resounding depth of Coyu’s unmistakeable bassline and Paolo’s heavily filtered and emotive top line. With his signature finesse, Franky has pulled together the very best elements of both tracks for a sophisticated edit. The intelligent productions from Franky just keep on coming.

Glasgow Underground was set up in 1997 by Kevin McKay. He began the label releasing his own music and collaborations with friends and other Glasgow-based artists (Omid 16b, Studio Blue, DJ Q, Harri). Through his DJing and work for various music magazines (Muzik, Jockey Slut, Mixmag Update) he met some of his favourite producers of the time (Romanthony, Mateo & Matos, Idjut Boys...) and convinced some of them to join him releasing on GU. In the early 2000s, Kevin met Mylo and set up the Breastfed record label. The global success of "Destroy Rock & Roll" meant Glasgow Underground was put on hold. After leaving the Breastfed label in 2011, Kevin re-started Glasgow Underground and since then the label has gone on to re-invigorate Romanthony's catalogue with remixes from the likes of Dixon, MCDE, Gerd, Andres, Oliver Dollar, Ejeca, Audiojack, Claptone, Christian Nielsen, Supernova, Jimmy Edgar and Waifs & Strays. The label has also introduced producers like Daniel Trim, Brett Gould, Mia Dora and Illyus & Barrientos as well has releasing established & rising stars such as Metodi Hristov, Stefano Ritteri and Sabb.
