The label boss sets the bar of the year as SNOE’s second release is delivered by Andreas Henneberg. Loved for his wild and diverse style, Andreas is always pushing the boundaries and draws inspiration from many genres when masterfully crafting one dance floor monster after another.

His newest EP is no different, and the first track “Mommy’s Wrap” shows that he has no intention on giving the dancers time to sleep. An alluring and powerful groove guides the direction of the tune, moving between a melodic touch and a fierce smack in the face. While building a huge momentum in the break it is underlined by an incredibly tight groove that really works as the cherry on top. “Cologne” is the second track of the release, the vivid drums and percussions create an irresistible funked up techno groove while the chattily synth gives in incredibly powerfil vibe, the whole track just pulsating of energy.

The much-loved SNOEflakes format is back with 4 banging tracks. Introducing some fresh faces to the family, this package is a dance floor oriented selecting offering a lot of good vibes and funky grooves. First up is German Phineo and Mad Brother delivering a top notch Tech House tune with “Where Do We Go”. Upbeat percussions and a wicked synth underline jacking vocal elements, all melting together in a sweet release. Hailing from Canada, the duo Bits N´ Bobs delivers “Fell To Dust”. Slightly dirtier in their style, the track is packed with energy and prime time drum work creating the perfect space for a tight synth and playful elements.

Scottish producer Nico Mendez has joined the team with the wonderful track “Gear”. Working with slightly loungy elements and a smooth groove this is the perfect after hour and festival tune setting the scene for blissful dancing. Rounding up the EP are the Argentina based artists Who Else and Anhauser. “I Know You Wanna” is naughty, charming and incredibly catchy with its weird synths and acidy elements working around the bouncy bassline.

With his nothing short of outstanding Force EP on Compost Records, prodigious Laolu pushes his boundaries even further and provides us with a refreshing and yet poignant travel through his vision of afro inspired house music. In addition to this musical marvel comes a long-awaited vinyl exclusive Laolu Remix of Sophie Hungers There Is Still Pain Left, one that will be remembered. It received heavy support already by the likes of Solomun, Marcus Worgull, Trikk and Eagles & Butterflies!

Released on Innervisions at the end of 2015, Laolu's remix of Dele Sosimi's 'Too Much Information' has been a number one hit and Dixon and Ame's favourite track of the year. Laolu was born out of the love of a Nigerian father and a Swiss mother who, most appropriately, met in a record store in Berlin. He spent his first years in Nigeria where his parents owned "The Gallery", a club dedicated to Jazz and Soul. And so his musical education began. After relocating to France, he attended a music school in order to learn saxophone and music theory, but upon discovering Detroit techno pioneers Derrick May and Carl Craig at the age of 18, he sold his saxophone to buy his first drum machine.

He then moved to Geneva where he started DJing and met Kadebostan, who quickly became a musical co-conspirator in the studio and as a DJ partner. In 2010, Laolu released his first EP "O Fantasma" on the young Berlin based label Clap Your Hands. A deep tune for special club moments. During the following years, his collaborations and solo work have led him to produce music for labels including Innervisions, Defected, Compost Records, Get Physical, Weapons, Freude Am Tanzen, Clap Your Hands, Mental Groove, Jalapeno Records and Soundway Records. He kicked off 2014 writing and producing Sene Kela for Mr Raoul Ks new album, which gathered love and support from Dixon, Mano Le Tough and more.

As a DJ, he has built a solid reputation in his hometown of Geneva, but also played across Europe in Berlin, Paris , Krakow and Tbilisi. Ruff techno, heart warming house, his style both sophisticated and raw at once allows him to swing moods and match the feverish atmosphere of any club.

Glasgow Underground was set up in 1997 by Kevin McKay. He began the label releasing his own music and collaborations with friends and other Glasgow-based artists (Omid 16b, Studio Blue, DJ Q, Harri). Through his DJing and work for various music magazines (Muzik, Jockey Slut, Mixmag Update) he met some of his favourite producers of the time (Romanthony, Mateo & Matos, Idjut Boys...) and convinced some of them to join him releasing on GU. In the early 2000s, Kevin met Mylo and set up the Breastfed record label. The global success of "Destroy Rock & Roll" meant Glasgow Underground was put on hold. After leaving the Breastfed label in 2011, Kevin re-started Glasgow Underground and since then the label has gone on to re-invigorate Romanthony's catalogue with remixes from the likes of Dixon, MCDE, Gerd, Andres, Oliver Dollar, Ejeca, Audiojack, Claptone, Christian Nielsen, Supernova, Jimmy Edgar and Waifs & Strays. The label has also introduced producers like Daniel Trim, Brett Gould, Mia Dora and Illyus & Barrientos as well has releasing established & rising stars such as Metodi Hristov, Stefano Ritteri and Sabb.
