The now Berlin based producer and DJ has been making moves both above and underground lately. The man is also responsible for "Small Great Things" and "Endless Music" in which he really showcases his passion for house music. Basically what we are trying to say is that Luca has been putting out one banger after the other and rest assured, this one is certainly no different.

'Coming From The Deep' EP by Munky Fike is the latest release from GLBDOM's sub-label GLBDOM Classic, and is a masterclass in elegant, retro house sounds for the modern, twenty-first century dance floor. Comprised of four tracks, Munky Fike gets things started with the eponymous 'Coming From The Deep', a simple yet powerful track featuring uplifting pads and a super catchy bassline, embellished with subtle touches of 303 and emotive sax refrains. Up next is 'Freak Me' which, as the name suggests, has a more energetic and frenetic vibe. Organ licks, a stomping bassline and deftly applied vocal samples all add up to make Freak Me a certified dance floor jam! Track three, 'Makes Me Happy', is a sax and piano infused number with a lively beat and hefty bassline, replete with soaring vocal hits and a fervent pulse that will get any crowd moving. Topping things off is the super funky 'So Good', with its soulful vocal stabs and hypnotic organ riff driving the tune ever onwards and upwards. Add in lashings of sax and strings, and So Good becomes the perfect finishing track for this absolute vibe of an EP!

Berlin label Aterral is headed up by Carlo, a DJ and producer who hails from the warmer climes of Spain. The label name referring to the blistering hot airstreams from his hometown in Malaga. Now a Berliner by choice, he pays tribute to his birth city by providing us with blistering hot sounds streams for house loving dancefloors. Following on from the labels most recent releases by Black Loops and Shall Not Fade’s Lis Sarroca, label head Carlo steps up to the plate.

He’s a connoisseur of all things House and an incredibly versatile DJ &producer. Carlo has built his reputation on the Berlin circuit by playing at the Koffäin parties, curating The Circle Sessions at Watergate, and producing house music from the studio he shares with Berlin deep house wizard Black Loops. Carlo has had releases on Classic Music Company, Madhouse and Slothboogie, running a second label Neovinyl with his long-time pal Baldo.

Mediterraneo is a four to the floor affair by the label kingpin who delivers four original cuts, each one making you fantasize about sweaty clubs and jam-packed dancefloors. This release is Carlo continuing to find a balance of style and freshness whilst remaining true to the deep house genre. It’s full of subtle details which showcase Carlo’s obsession with nuanced sound-design, the ultimate goal, to make the party groove. Mediterraneo is possibly his finest realisation of these qualities to date.
