Wenn gemeinsam Träume wahr werden... Was ein Festival, was eine Insel, was ne Crew, was ne Crowd und was ein morgen! Da ich mich erst vor 2 Jahren auf den Events der @mystic-tales-berlin in Downtempo verliebt habe, war es schon ultra schön zu hören, dass die Mystics uns vom BeYond Kollektiv dabei haben wollten um ihre schöne Insel in Polen in eine zauberhafte Parallelwelt zu verwandeln✨. Dass @thisisrakaethe und ich dann auch noch den Mainfloor für @hhaller einheizen durften war ein einziges Träumchen. Nur schön und unfassbar aufregend die eigenen Lieblingstracks und die ersten eigenen Produktionen auf so einer Anlage zu betanzen.  Und wieviele Lieblingsmenschen mit uns in der Hitze breit grinsend sich wild tanzend in der Musik verloren haben werde ich literally nie vergessen. Wir können die nächsten gemeinsamen Abenteuer kaum abwarten🚀

Dickes fettes Dankeschön an die @mystic-tales-berlin die für so viele Menschen in Polen Träume haben wahr werden lassen. Nur Liebe an @beyondcollectiveberlin für den traumhaften Familienausflug nach Polen💜

When dreams come true together... What a festival, what an island, what a crew, what a crowd and what a morning!  Since I fell in love with downtempo only 2 years ago at the Mystics events, it was super special to hear that the Mystics wanted us from the BeYond collective there to turn their beautiful island into a magical parallel world. That @thisisrakaethe  and I were booked to heat up the mainfloor for @hhaller was literally a dream come true. Just beautiful and incredibly exciting to dance to your own favorite tracks and your first own productions on such a sound system.  And I will literally never forget how many of our favorite people lost themselves in the music, smiling brightly and dancing wildly in the heat. We can hardly wait for the next adventures together.
Big big thank you to the @mystic-tales-berlin who made dreams come true for so many people in Poland. Only love to @beyondcollectiveberlin for the dreamlike family trip on this mystical island.

During late hours under the clear starry skies of the Tankwa, there isn’t really any good reason to not let completely loose and throw down beats dropping harder than a farmer with a new crop. Especially when you happen to be doing it in celebration of the the great pride and glory and the very totem of gooi-ing mielies itself.

Thanks to the Scallywags for your dedication to showing us the light in the art of throwing those corns like there’s no tomorrow. For making me dig into my late night music vibes, which is always suuuch a pleasure. Who knew that corn could be so conducive to channelings of dirty beats and healing dance moves?

[For those of you unfamiliar with what “Gooi Mielies” means, it’s a South African expression for “throwing corn” which may sound really odd, but it actually in a more metaphorical sense means to “give it your absolute all”.]

Seine Performance verkörperte das Hidden Places-Ethos: Das Unerwartete inklusive und unmöglich, still zu stehen.

Flashes of Venus - my set from Pangea 2025 - Whispers of the Deep. 

It was a deep honour to follow the opening ceremony this year and get to experience the monumental pleasure of sending the first drop into that beautiful Canyon. I loved how effortless the transition was flowing from the sonic alchemy of @stephwustrow 's Moog into my opening piece, an invocation of Venus energy layered with frequencies, working on the energy body in ways that were clearing, calling in free expression, harmony, an open heart and feminine fire. Bringing the dance floor from ceremony to movement, cracking the sonic portal open and setting the heart of the festival in an intentional way.

It doesn’t feel like it was a coincidence that I played my debut set at @pangeafrequencies seven months pregnant a year ago. In the months following my son’s birth I have come to understand the meaning of feminine strength in so many new ways. So it felt natural, just about inevitable, to bring the next chapter of my story to the stage this year. 

Simultaneously to raising new human life, new music has been brought to creation - all while I've initiated into working with plant consciousness that has guided me in the most subtle and mysterious ways in this magical process.

I give thanks to all the support I had in this wild journey, from the seen to the unseen. 

Walking this path of medicine and music embedded makes me feel so in alignment and my biggest realisation in the last couple of months has been that some of the purest forms of spiritual moments for me, has been on dusty dance floors with really fkn juicy sound systems. No white cloaks or meditation beads needed 😜

Leipzig and its musicians – they are quite something. The city’s music history includes Johann Sebastian Bach, Matthias Tanzmann and Thomas Brachmann. However, Brachmann is probably rather known under his acronym TOM B. Although TOM B. reads “tomb”, “grave” in the English language, in the context of music, it stands for his DJ sets and productions fully enjoying live. People say that Leipzig is the new Berlin, especially when it comes to clubbing and music. Paul Kalkbrenner was born here, however, he moved to the capital, later. What used to be dark and sooty due to the established industry and coal mining is now surrounded by newly created see landscapes, thriving with new life. Leipzig has come to be known as “Hypzig”. TOM B., born in 1984 on the southern outskirts of the trade-fair city, has experienced that amazing change first-hand, has even given it is own face. He started to perform as a DJ in 1999. In 2001 he had his first gig in the legendary Distillery club that is Germany’s oldest House & Techno Club. Up until the year 2005 he was a Distillery resident, he was the first five years of the millennium at home, here. Since 2009 the Skyclub is his home base, unless he has gigs in Amsterdam, Budapest, Berlin, Hamburg or Munich. Additionally, TOM B. has been a member of Dusted Decks right of its outset, which counts 9 years by now. His sound is characterized by House, Deephouse and Tech House. Remixes for David K. and Nicolas Hannig, M-22 and Anton Ishutin are what he is known for. TOM B. will take part in the “About:Berlin” Compilation by Universal Music and present “Drive without Engine”. His productions are released on Damm und Klang Gymnastik, Fukai, Music/Great Stuff and Well Done! together with remixes by Lexer, Teenage Mutants and Rich vom Dorf or by Ron Flatter, Nico Pusch and Thomas Lizzara. Even if the year 1984 – which marks the birth of TOM B. – predicts a rather dark vision in the eyes of George Orwell in 1949 – we have to say that looking back at 1984 now, in 2015, that year must have been an excellent one! Music by and from Leipzig is en vogue – and we rightly owe that to Tom B., too!
