Overflow Inc is a youthful Choir in Ghana that believes in lifting the Name of Jesus through powerful ministrations.

There is a sound, this peculiar sound consisting
of a steady tempo but with commanding drum
patterns, awe-inspiring bass lines, enchanting
keyboard progressions, dramatic lead guitar
strums and a surging chant from living mortals.
The sound as of an anthem… God’s anthem
eliciting from his true worshippers.
It seems to me like a replication of efforts of
some sort because even though the lyrics vary I
hear the sound, that peculiar sound. Tasha
Cobbs sings about an army rising up- Certainly
she is referring this crop of worship leaders
who redefining worship through their music.
Overflow incorporated is definitely in that
number and sealed their spot with this new
worship music entitled My Worship Anthem.
The song was produced by David Jay Loops(who
is the team leader of Overflow Inc.) with co-
producing efforts from the prolific Francis Osei
at Groove House Studios as well as
arrangements done by David Fortunatus Tagoe.
This song is penned by and features the very
efficient vocalist Glenn Barnes who has
established himself as a viable artist in Ghanaian
contemporary gospel. The song has 3 thrilling
sections- starting with a warm congregational
melody that glides into an intricate part with
the vocal chorus belting beautiful harmonies
and well coordinated contrapuntal polyphony
then ends gloriously with the popular Ghanaian
worship chant ‘Woso na wokron’.
Already known for their unique style and near
impeccable delivery, Overflow proved beyond
all doubts with this record that they are a force
to reckon and can easily pass as the best new
group in contemporary gospel. Barnes also
leads the charge with his signature high pitches
serving nothing that interferes with the
worship… maybe a turn down for critical minds
who place premium on exotic licks and riffs but
certainly a turn up for those who enjoy pure
and unadulterated worship music.
The music, set to be released on 24th June,
2014 will precede a live visual which is being
readied to give listeners the complete
